Elaine and Steve were very nice and welcoming, helpd out with directions and facilities in town too. I normally stay in hotels when working away but thought it'd be nice to have a 'home' feel for once. The room was very pretty, clean and tidy. modern but not agressively modern. good size too. Everything fantastic this hotel is such a credit to Elaine & myself & hubby & my 2 child 10-9 was made very welcome from the moment I rang the bell :) the breakfast is fantastic so much to pick and all fresh the room were spotless as was the hotel couldn't of asked for more they even went out there way to help my older daughter & boyfriend who was stoping in another hotel they r such a lovely couple and will be sure going back again next yr

This was our third visit to the Lonsdale and yet again Stephen and Karl made our stay most enjoyable. They are the perfect hosts making your break at the Lonsdale as pleasurable and relaxing as possible.
The Lonsdale is a wonderful haven of retreat and beautiful in every sense of the word. From the antique furnishings, the magnificent chandeliers and table lamps, the paintings, down to the crystal glasses and the charming cruet set at the breakfast table, everything is perfect for your pleasure

We were made welcome from the second we walked in, Mel and Roy went out of their way to ensure our stay was perfect, including giving us a lift to the wedding reception we were going to. Lovely little touches in the room, including lovely warm fluffy towels which felt amazing on my skin after my shower. Breakfast was fresh and tasty with a good selection.

The hotel is on the airport site and we only had to take 10 steps and we were in the airport.
The bar/restaurant next door is fantastic value for money,we went into Blackpool itself and came back here for drinks but we should have stayed as the food looked gorgeous and plentiful.
It also has a great kids area aswell.
