We liked the friendly hosts and the attractive and well appointed house. We were offered a drink and snack on arrival and were given fresh milk for our teas and coffee in our room. Comfortable room, enormous bed, our first time use of a WetRoom --
a delight.
Breakfast choices were admirable. Janet and John are welcoming and very friendly. Janet helped our visit enormously with pre-paid, reduced cost tickets to the local attractions of Hardwick and Chatsworth Houses -- a must pair of house visits.

I was extremely pleased with my stay in the Castle Green B&B. The accommodations were excellent and the hosts were very attentive and provided useful local advise on dining and wining. They also accommodated my special request for an early breakfast as I needed to leave before breakfast time.
Exceeded my expectations and would go back.

Room was furnished very well and the bed was extremely comfortable. Underfloor heating meant that we were always very warm. Good portion of cooked breakfast in the morning. Staff were friendly. Excellent location for us. Overall a good experience. -

My first stay at Whitton Lodge and John and staff were very helpful and friendly. I was staying on business and did not have time to use them but there is a small gym a sauna available. The room was extremely clean with tea and coffee facilities and a nice touch was that they provided a white robe in the room. I have business nearby soon so will definitely be back.

I loved the suite that we had it was first class, there are so many good points about the Birchover eg the sauna, the wonderful kitchen which is fully equipped eg the slow cooker, the fact that the we had our privacy but if we had needed any help there was always someone just a phone call away,now this what you call a truly unforgettable experie

Very clean, spacious apartment with a sauna being an added attraction. The apartments are in a good location of Derby, with a personal touch that you tend not to find in a chain run hotel! Would we use these apartments again - yes we would!

The staff were extremely friendly and courteous. In fact, the manager made a point of welcoming us as we enjoyed a pre-dinner drink in the bar which was very thoughtful. The rooms were very comfortable and the hotel situated in a beautiful setting. The food was superb - I'd have no hesitation in recommending it to my friends/work colleagues. - Staf

Both rooms were very clean, comfortable and had beautiful views over the Chatsworth Estate. The evening meal in the Garden Room was excellent.

We (family of husband, wife and two young kids) really enjoyed our stay at Luxe Self Catering Apartments. All the amenities were close by (some within walking distance and some a few minutes drive away). It was an ideal location and a great base for Alton Towers. We will most certainly visit them again and certainly recommend them to all our friends and family. The staff went above and beyond their duty to make sure our stay was comfortable.

Lovely hotel! I honestly didn't expect that much, as I travel A LOT for business and am rather immune to hotels.... It is clean and well fitted.... the bath was gorgeous and the staff couldn't have been friendlier! We felt a bit underdressed for dinner at the "Pub"... it's really more of a restaurant, but very nice food. Beautiful location, even saw a peacock just outside our bedroom window in the AM! Would definitely come back.
