We liked the friendly hosts and the attractive and well appointed house. We were offered a drink and snack on arrival and were given fresh milk for our teas and coffee in our room. The views are very pleasant and the location convenient for the main road but nice and quiet. The food was good and the water was hot. There were complimentary bottles

Comfortable room, enormous bed, our first time use of a WetRoom --
a delight.
Breakfast choices were admirable. Janet and John are welcoming and very friendly. Janet helped our visit enormously with pre-paid, reduced cost tickets to the local attractions of Hardwick and Chatsworth Houses -- a must pair of house visits.

I was extremely pleased with my stay in the Castle Green B&B. The accommodations were excellent and the hosts were very attentive and provided useful local advise on dining and wining. They also accommodated my special request for an early breakfast as I needed to leave before breakfast time.
Exceeded my expectations and would go back.

Room was furnished very well and the bed was extremely comfortable. Underfloor heating meant that we were always very warm. Good portion of cooked breakfast in the morning. Staff were friendly. Excellent location for us. Overall a good experience. -

I loved the suite that we had it was first class, there are so many good points about the Birchover eg the sauna, the wonderful kitchen which is fully equipped eg the slow cooker, the fact that the we had our privacy but if we had needed any help there was always someone just a phone call away,now this what you call a truly unforgettable experie

Very clean, spacious apartment with a sauna being an added attraction. The apartments are in a good location of Derby, with a personal touch that you tend not to find in a chain run hotel! Would we use these apartments again - yes we would!

We (family of husband, wife and two young kids) really enjoyed our stay at Luxe Self Catering Apartments. All the amenities were close by (some within walking distance and some a few minutes drive away). It was an ideal location and a great base for Alton Towers. We will most certainly visit them again and certainly recommend them to all our friends and family. The staff went above and beyond their duty to make sure our stay was comfortable.

Everything was perfect. The staff were friendly, helpful, smiley!!! and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel although situated on a roundabout, you wouldn't have known it, was in a perfect location for seeing all the beautiful places around the area. Matlock, Bakewell, Buxton, Snake Pass all just a few minutes drive away. Beds were amazing probably the best nights sleep in a hotel I've ever had. Restaurant was brilliant, food really good, and again the staff were fabulous.

Location was great, lots of walks without driving anywhere. Grounds were lovely and you could sit outside and relax. Choice in restraurant was good,as was the food and reasonbly priced too.Beds were comfortable and room was spacious with adequate facilities. Good lounge and bar area which were very clean and relaxing. -

Rooms for 4 are a good size (in the Barn). The location is fantastic for family and serious cycling - small details such as spare locks to rent make a difference.
The food on offer is very good, substantial and excellent value. lounge and library have warming fires and an old fashioned atmosphere. Hartington bitter on tap! The village pub (not hotel) has super food too. And the local scenery. What's not to like?

We loved the warm greeting by friendly staff. The rooms were gorgeous with a large selection of hot drinks to choose from. The bathroom was well stocked with toiletries. Everything was very well kept and clean. The lounge had a bar, snooker table, games and cards for children and adults, plenty of choice of magazines and information on the local area plus comfortable sofas and armchairs to relax and enjoy the lovely view from the large window.
