  Right from the start, I was made to feel warmly welcomed and I was picked up from the airport on arrival which was a welcome change for a solo traveller. La Roche is a beautiful house and the room I stayed in was luxurious, clean and comfortable. I shared a bathroom and toilet with the room next door but this was not a problem and worked very we... lo que la gente dice » ll. The owners, Jane and David were exquisite hosts. They were really helpful about what to see and the best way of getting there. Breakfasts were - David and Jane were probably the friendliest and nicest B&B owners I've ever met. Had a nice long chat, they offered a glass of wine and they were very interesting people. The room was also very nice and clean. They really helped make my stay in Guernsey memorable and enjoyable.

  Loved the friendly atmosphere! The staff were so helpful and really wanted you to enjoy your stay. The bar was lovely - ended up having some fab old tunes that you could sing along to. The breakfast was delicious - fresh to order and obviously high quality products. The beds and bedding ensured a very sound nights sleep. We had an amazing room with balcony with view - The owner and his daughter were very very friendly and helpfull. The Hotel is clean. Breakfast was all good quality products, hot, good choice, great service the staff go out of their way to help in any way they can. Plenty of coat hangers and drawers. White bedding and thick towels.   What a super find. Very welcoming indeed- even arranged private transfer to airport. As well as giving me plenty of tips about local places of interest and good food eateries. Will certainly return. Many thanks to Geoff and Carolyn. - The room was very nice and the dressing gowns really warm! I really liked having a fridge and microwave!
