Loved the friendly atmosphere! The staff were so helpful and really wanted you to enjoy your stay. The bar was lovely - ended up having some fab old tunes that you could sing along to. The breakfast was delicious - fresh to order and obviously high quality products. You could have a full meal at the Taverna or like we did have some lovely fresh salads, dips, olives etc. Rooms were spotless. The beds and bedding ensured a very sound nights sleep. We had an amazing room with balcony with view. todo comentarios »
The owner and his daughter were very very friendly and helpfull. The Hotel is clean. Breakfast was all good quality products, hot, good choice, great service the staff go out of their way to help in any way they can. Plenty of coat hangers and drawers. White bedding and thick towels. Comfy bed and pillows.Good mirror and shelfe over W/h/b ( this was in the bedroom not the ensuet but no problem)There is a nice sun lounge by the bar, if you dont want to sit in the bar, or just want to chill, rela.
All the staff were so welcoming and helpful. Very cheerful everyday, irrespective of how busy they were at any given time.
We had a great weeks holiday in Jersey and it was made all the more special by the owners of De L'etang, Rebecca and John, who went out of their way to cater for my gluten free diet but also gave us any help with directions (especially for our day trip to France), around Jersey, to make our stay as enjoyable and pleasant an experience as possible. We had an amazing holid.
Location. Great view from the room. Nice and quiet at night. Breakfast was extremely good quality. Hotel Bar was cosy with a lively atmosphere for a hotel of this size. We ordered a garlic bread with cheese for a snack on our last evening and it was the best garlic bread we have ever had. On reflection we wish we had eaten in their restaurant! Great place and staff. Would stay there again and would recommend to anyone.
with out a doubt the best hotel any where Ive ever stayed, warm clean safe and such great owners ,it must be good as the locals use the excellent bar and its all ways full of great people and laughter.great breakfast and nothing to much to ask for any of the brilliant staff,John and Rebecca take a very long bow your the stars of this little slice of heaven by the sea.
This hotel is located beside a bathing pool (in the sea), which is marvellous for swimming especially during summer. It is also located within walking distance of the town, where retail shopping, grocery shopping and markets can be found. A very ideal location, with a good price, spacious room and good breakfast.
Very very friendly staff, really felt at home from the moment we arrived. Really helpful throughout our stay, lovely bar downstairs in hotel but not noisy at night. Breakfast was excellent. Overall a wonderful stay in a very convenient and comfortable hotel. I would definatley return.
First class personal service from the owners and all of their staff. The inclusive breakfast set us up for the day, with great produce cooked perfectly. Great location on the sea front and only 10 minutes walk to the centre of town. Looking forward to visiting again in the future.
Perfect place, only 10 meters from the beach! We stayed in a large sea-
view room and so much enjoy the nice scene and the room. Staffs are so
nice, and the restaurant of hotel is fabulous as well. And must mention
the great breakfast they offered.
The welcome was of long lost family - excellent, smiles and nothing
seemed to be too much trouble - ideal for a nervous single traveller -
Food (+restaurant) very good. Will stay here again if returning and
recommend l`etang.
John and Rebecca where so helpful and friendly. Went that extra mile to
be helpful. Excellent food cooked by John. Lovely relaxing atmosphere in
the bar.Good seafront location easy walk into the town.
Very welcoming, clean and excellent food. Easy walking distance to the town and on a bus route. Having their own bar is great for winding down after a day out.
the hotel was just in the right distance from the centre .The management were friendly and very polite.the room was pleasant and comfortable.
The fantastic views of the beach from our sea view window and the lovely welcome from the staff.
Food in the restaurant was also very good.
Gorgeous little B&B right by the sea. Great atmosphere. Very friendly owners and staff. Yummy breakfast. Excellent value for money.
The friendliness and helpfulness of the owners John and Rebecca, the view of the sea from our window and the plentiful evening meals.

location.
The guest house was friendly. The owners seemed kind and welcoming and the staff helpful.
We were not aware there were no tea coffee supplied in room. But saying that there was kettle and cups so we just got ourselves a small jar of coffee and coffeemate and we were sorted.
It isn't high end boutique and a bit faded round the edges. But as I said spotless clean, comfortable and better to have attentive staff than glitz and glamour and an uncomfortable bed!.
The fact you had tea making stuff in the room but no T-bags, milk or coffee. We bought our own for that early morning brew but the milk went off. It wouldnt cost to much to provided a couple of t-bags and some milk. But they would make you a cuppa anytime if you asked. The bedroom was large and clean but could do with brighting up maybe new curtains, or a seaside colour scheme. It was basic but very clean.
That due to work commitments that we couldn't stay longer.
We have no complaints about our stay at De L'etang.
Nothing.
that I had to come home!!!!!!!!!!!.
Staying at the top floor, the water from the shower head is quite small. Perhaps due to the pump or something. Was quite difficult to take a shower.
Nothing.
Nothing.
Nothing at all.
The shower area was a little on the bijou side (had to think hard to
find a negative).
Nothing.
Nothing.
shower was good but a little on the small size for someone who is as big as me (6' 3").
Room could have been better looked after ie towel rail broken etc. - but just minor things really.
The weather!.
can't think of anything.
No complaints.
Nothing, all good.
Dated bedroom decor.
We got caught out on the first night as we arrived on a late flight and there was no restaurants opened. It would have been nice if the hotels restaurant catered for late arrivals in someway.
Very small room/en-suite.
Car parking no car park.
no car park.
no tea/coffee/milk provided. There was a kettle and cups.
small tables for 4 people to sit at. Plus shower room was quite small.
small bar predominately male lighting in the hallways poor.
Nothing.
small showers.
There was no tea, coffee or milk supplied although there was a kettle. No shampoo or shower sachets were supplied after the first day. The bedroom whilst clean was careworn. I felt it was overpriced at £80 bed and breakfast per night taking the above into consideration.
