I could not recommend this place enough!! Very nice & welcoming couple. And the barn conversions are very cute and comfortable. Just what I wanted to show my boyfriend who has never been to England just what England is like to me. My Wife and I recently stayed at the Merry Harriers for four nights.
Really comfortable, clean, modern and private accommodation situated in
the gardens at the rear of the pub. Great atmosphere in the pub, with
excellent food; all hosted by the friendly family proprieters. Location
is South of Godalming in stunning countryside with plenty of walking
trails, and the Harriers even organize Lama treking!

A beautiful setting. Lovely local inn which has been tastefully modernised inside with oak furnishings and dark soft brown comfy chairs. Great friendly staff and food was fantastic. A beautiful large beer garden with tables, chairs and umbrellas. Continental breakfast with a good varied choice, fresh and tasty. Ample free newspapers to browse thro

The room was well appointed; the bed was good. One female member of
staff was brilliant: provided compensatory item after complaint
about lasagne; very helpful indeed. Beer was good. Decor downstairs
was tasteful. Other members of staff were also pleasant and helpful.

Staff were super friendly and accommodating. Wifi was good, breakfast was simple but sufficient. Food is left outside the room on a tray on weekends (a courtesy knock would have been appreciated). Stairs were a little awkward for big luggage but to be expected in this style of accommodation. Close to train station and high street. -

... lo que la gente dice » . Felt like we were in an en-suite bedroom rather than hotel room. Great decor. Really comfortable bed. Cosy. Great sized tv. Very little noise. Small but bijou and a really friendly welcome with bags taken to room for us.

The house itself and the grounds are wonderful. I was there for one night without electricity and the 'staff' were incredibly obliging and great hosts. The room was excellent with an en suite bathroom of exquisite design and dramatic size. I liked everything.
