I can say that my stay at Ashwood house was amazing, as the staff is so polite, attentive to all requests and always ready to help. I thought the hotel was very well suited for people wanting to visit
Harrogate or attending a conference or exhibition. Even though I was in
a single room it was light and airy and the en suite shower was
exceptionally clean, very high standard. Breakfast was nicely cooked as
well as cereals available. Parking may well be a problem in the summer
but I used the car park behind the hotel and had no problems

Fantastic stay. on arrival we had been upgraded to one of the two bed luxury apartment, the booking agent had also taken into consideration the request for the quiet room which i was extremely grateful of. I really cannot fault the apartment or locality it really was spot on for our needs.
In particular, we bumped into the maintenance guy on the way in and he showed us where everything was and then the following day we wanted to store our luggage as we came on the train and one telephone call to yourselves and we left our luggage with the maintenance guy and came and collected later in the day. You went the extra mile to accommodate us and would highly recommend to anyone who is wishing to stay

The apartment was absolutely spotless, everything you could think of was there, fluffy white towels, toiletries, tea/coffee/sugar & bottle of milk in fridge. Big rug. The location was brilliant for Harrogate town centre - 5 minutes away on foot. We will definitely be going back. -
Although we booked a studio apartment we were surprised that there was a fair amount of space in the apartment itself. Plenty of crockery etc., and some tea bags, water and soft drinks which were a bonus. Ideal if you don't like the idea of having huge breakfasts at a B & B or hotel. We would definitely book these apartments again. Very central to the Town.

In a lovely part of Harrogate. Lots of places to eat & shop.

We enjoyed our stay from start to finish. We had completed the "Special Requirements" part of the booking form regarding check in time and received a call from the Brasserie on the same day who were happy to help and accomodate our request. Very attractive and quirky hotel with a great frontage for taking refreshments...even had a heated wooden gazebo! Great room - very spacious and comfortable. Even though there was music every evening it was not noisy. Fab menu and a buzzy atmosphere in the evening. Very attentive staff who were friendly and helpful. The room was very well appointed and decorated. It was very large, bright and clean. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, with a wide section. The bar snacks were nicely presented and good vaule for money. Service was excellent and housekeepng was of a very high standard. Staying at this hotel made our visit really enjoyable

It was very comfortable, the breakfasts very good and the staff very pleasant and helpful. It was a good place to relax after a busy working day and very good value for money we plan to stay there again next year.

Just excellent accommodation, modern, clean, warm and comfortable in all respects with a "welcome" pack of tea, coffee and milk- well thought. Within walking distance of the town and off road parking. -

Good sized room, everything I needed for overnight stay. Room overlooked garden which was pretty and quiet but imagine it would be a busy (noisey) beer garden in high summer. Decor modern, bathroom with double shower. Location excellent for RHS Harlow Carr visit. Breakfast continental only in price but sufficient and reasonable choice. -

Loved the fact that we were a two minute walk from the shops and near restaurants for the evening. Excellent value for money and a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Much nicer than your run of the mill holiday inn or travel lodge where they are all the same! Also liked that you had a bar connected so we could have a drink late evening.

Room was slightly on the small side but was bright, nicely decorated & nipping clean, the bed was very comfy, shower was great & my wife loved the complimentary biscuits. Girl on reception was really friendly & efficient. Did not dine there but has a few drinks in the fat badger bar which we enjoyed. The price of the room was excellent @ £59 for a double. Would deffo stay again

the location was great only a 5 minute walk to the train station and to the shopping centre. Contrary to other reviews I found the reception staff very helpful, especially Natalie. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable. Parking was no problem - car park at the front of the hotel and plenty spaces at the back. I would certainly stay there a
