  Dave the hotel owner is a superb host. He couldn't do enough for his guests. Hotel is work in progress but so far impressive. Even dropped us off at the railway station to save us getting a taxi when we left. Breakfast was plentiful and cooked well. Hotel is in an ideal situation if you don't want to pay Liverpool city prices. While there was no food available a selection of take away menus where offered and cutlery, plates and napkins provided. Breakfast served by Dave the next morning and was delicous.
