  We have just returned home from a week skiing in the resort of Vogel and it was truly a marvelous holiday - thanks to the location and accommodation at the Alpik Apartments in Ukanc. I passed through this region once before in the summer time on a day trip to go white water rafting on the River Soca but I was so blown away with the views of Lake B... lo que la gente dice » ohinj it deserved a second trip back! On arrival we could not believe our eyes as the setting was like a 'winter wonderland' and the apartment was so - We spent a considerable amount of time searching for a suitable base close to the Vogel ski and snowboarding center. We were lucky to find Alpik apartments at a convenient location close to the center, and Lake Bohinj, both within 2-10 minutes from the apartment. Jaka is a very gracious host, who picked us up from the bus stop and helped us get around town. The location is peaceful and set in the natural beauty of the surrounding mountains.   Great location in a nice village 7 minutes drive from lake bohinj, but away from the hassle of many tourists. The Apartments are well equipped with anything you can think of in the kitchen (3 types of coffee machines...) Ground floor contains a place with toys for children. - Everything was perfect.   Staff was very friendly and helpful. It was no problem to check out two hours late on January 1st. - small but very clean room. 5 minutes walk from the lake and bus stop. value for money.

  The hostess, Vesna is lovely, friendly, and helpful. The apartment is clean and comfortable, very well equipped kitchen, fast wifi, 10 minutes easy walk to the centre and shops. We stayed in the studio and although it's small, we had enough room for everything we needed. On special Saturdays you can see the steam engine passing the town by just stepping out of the house or with a few minutes walk to the - We visited during autumn. Practically everything "clicked" - this is a no-fuss apartment, everything went smoothly. The whole place oozes quality: stunningly clean bathroom, nice furniture. Kitchen is well equipped - refrigerator, utensils. The owners are nice, paying attention all the time from the neighboorhood, but not at all obtrusive. For this money this is a real bargain!

  Very new, very clean apartment. We had an extra single bed where ideally we would have had a setee but otherwise highly recommended. The hardness/softness of the mattresses are obviously down to personal choice and they can't provide for everyone's like and dislikes but they are VERY hard. Probably not an issue in July but first week in september you need your wooly socks - the apartment was extremely clean and well equipped! we had parking which was great, you are situated in the most perfect place directly beside shops, restaurants, bars and the lake! however, it is extremely peaceful and quiet! everything is at your doorstep, bed were comfy and shower was lovely, cannot fault this place!

  Everything! The owner was very friendly and accomadating, helping us with any requests that we had. The apartment was so nice and clean as well as cosy in the evenings. Very quiet and situated in a lovely small little village. The 9.5 score in reviews is more than deserved!   We really enjoyed our stay here, so peaceful. The owners were so helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. Would highly recommend. You are near enough to walk to Lake Bohinj (2 kms) and also on the bus route for both lakes.   We have spent 3 nights in this fantastic location. For several reasons, it is not easy to find the house, but people living in the village are extremely helpful and nice. Such as the owner, Metka, who is a great host! She is very friendly, happy to provide us hints where to go, what to visit, and she was really taking care of her guests! Everything was just spotlessly clean, the kitchen was very - Absolutely superb...We has a delightful duplex apartment with lovely mountain views. There was plenty of outside space to park our large car and also store our sea kayaks when we were not using them. We had an outside table next to the stream at the side of the property which was great for sitting out in the evenings. It is set a wonderful location in a quiet village with only a short drive to the lake, local town and villages. There is lots of activities in close proximity to the apartments

  The farming family were very welcoming and very friendly. Offering us beers, milk fresh from the cows, bicycles and use of their trampoline and ping pong table. They also gave us a litre of fresh apple juice that we had watched them press in a family production train. The apartment was spacious, well kitted out and immaculately presented. I would recommend lake Bohinj over la - Landlady was super welcoming and nice. Gave us cold beers when we arrived and placed a jug of fresh (!!) cow milk in front of our door every morning. Kitchen was very well equipped and for any other thing we needed from turning on central heating to a salt shaker, landlady and her family went out of their way to provide...
