  We have just returned home from a week skiing in the resort of Vogel and it was truly a marvelous holiday - thanks to the location and accommodation at the Alpik Apartments in Ukanc. On arrival we could not believe our eyes as the setting was like a 'winter wonderland' and the apartment was so - We spent a considerable amount of time searching for a suitable base close to the Vogel ski and snowboarding center. We were lucky to find Alpik apartments at a convenient location close to the center, and Lake Bohinj, both within 2-10 minutes from the apartment. Jaka is a very gracious host, who picked us up from the bus stop and helped us get around town. The location is peaceful and set in the natural beauty of the surrounding mountains.   This was a little piece of paradise in the middle of Slovenia. Absolutely nothing to fault. The staff were all exceptional, the rooms were absolutely immaculate and very , very comfortable, and the food in the restaurant was top class.   I am a returning guest. I visit the place at least twice a year. The staff is very polite and helpful. The hotel is never crowded. The ammenities are clean and nice. I really like the location of the hotel. - clean rooms, nice staff speaking english and german, nice rooms especially bathroom, good breakfast with fresh fruits and a large selection
