Staff was very friendly. Prior to my arrival I emailed the front desk about transportation from the airport -- they emailed me back immediately with the bus to take, where it drops me off, and how to get to the hotel from there. Upon checkout, I was able to leave my bags at the front desk and they provided me with a taxi to the bus station. Roo

The Belvedere Hotel was close to the centre,of Dublin a couple of minutes away walk. The room was quite and very clean and breakfast enjoyable, you received a discount if booking breakfast when you arrive. Lifts available so you don't need to carry bags. We got a very good last minute deal for the night. There is a pub bar/food connected to hotel.The hotel has entertainment shows on weekends.
The hotel is very closely located to entertainment, food, sight seeing attractions.

The location was extremely convenient to major Dublin sites. It was very
quiet at night (I stayed previously in the Temple Bar area and the
revelry at night made it impossible to sleep). Breakfast was excellent.

I am very happy I stayed at the Gate Hotel, the service is wonderful, the location could not be better, I was treated with attention. It was my first time in Dublin and they explained to me how to reach to places, gave me full guidance and even helped me get the best spots for shopping. There is also an area downstairs that connects with local pubs that is very nice and you can hear live music or chill and have a beer in other pubs without having to move out of the hotel. I fully recommend it;

Myself aged 31 and my mother of 65 years of age were looking for somewhere fairly central but away from the noise and that's just what we got! 10 minutes straight forward walk to shopping locations, Temple Bar, Central Bus Station, The LUAS and Connelly Train Station. We found the Ripley excellent. We stayed there initially when we arrived in Dublin, then after touring Ireland for two weeks, we stayed there again before leaving for Wales. Would not have done this if we were not happy.
Staff very helpful. Rooms clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely, with everything on offer, and able to have as much as you wanted, if you needed it.

The hostel is easy to get to from Dublin airport. We got there by coach and it took about 40minutes plus 15minutes walking time.
Lots of tourist attractions are nearby and the free walking tour each day is a great way to explore and learn the city's history
Staff were very friendly and more than happy to help with directions
Breakfast is included which was really convenient. You could also cook your own meals in the kitchen

La habitación es muy muy grande, la cama doble esta genial y el cuartode baño es bueno. A demás el hotel tiene gimnasio gratis y piscina de 14metros. Los desayunos son de buffet libre y puedes comer de todo (tipicodesayuno ingles) y mucha cantidad. En general muy buen hotel. - Our room was clean and warm. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The leisure center with pool is also being upgraded and will add significant value to the stay in this hotel. We also found the food to be quite good. - I was very disappointed that the leisure centre was not open as it said on the website that the leisure centre was closed for refurbishment until the 31st January, 2009. However it did not say that the leisure centre was closed during part of the month of February.

The hotel is located 2km away from Dublin Airport - easy to get there by taxi (about 9 euro), bus (2 euro, timetable is available on reception) or on foot (probably about 20 - 30 min. to go, didn't try it). Quite hotel, clean room, comfortable bed, nice smelling bedclothes and towels, good breakfast, affable staff, adequate price. I arrived at 1 p.m. - there was no problem with check - in. Perfect place to have a rest before next flight, I was absolutely satisfied.

I found the staff very professional , friendly and courteous at all times including the night porters. It was very good value and the rooms very cosy and warm with no noise of traffic or night clubbers from the street. While at reception I observed that some of the people checking in had stayed in the hotel several times a very good indication of any business when the customer / client does repeat business.

friendly staff - My friend and I arrived at around 10.20am, we were soaking wet from the morning downpour and there was a twin room ready, they checked us in straight away. The bar was lovely, great service and reasonably priced, tasty food. We went to Dublin for a concert, if we had to go again, we would def stay at the Mount Herbert Hotel again.
