The owner of the Mews is such a sweet heart. So very welcoming! The mews is a real interesting place and the breakfast is to your heart content! The mews is literally 10 mins walk from the castle. No car needed. If you attend a late banquet, don't forget to pack a torch with you for your way back!

We were late getting to the bunratty guesthouse because we went to the
bunratty castle banquet and checked in after that. They were very
gracious about our late check in, the bed and breakfast was very close

For a B&B service, and those who love to stay with a personal touch, I will say that Bunratty Grove Guesthouse is the ideal place with its charming hosts, a cheerful looking house, cosy atmosphere and nearby attractions and local restaurants, pubs ... Friendly and accomodating staff. Extremely comfortable beds, linens and towels. We had to rise quite early the next morning to catch a flight which meant we'd miss breakfast, which was included in the reasonalbe price. Phil(omena) arranged for coffee and scones to be available for us. This B&B is within walking distance of Bunratty castle and folk park.

After a long day of driving, our host, with her cheery disposition, made us feel as if we arrived home! Very personable, warm and friendly. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. This b&b is closer to the Shannon airport than most carparks are in major cities. The location couldn't be better! Mel is the perfect hostess, when I arrived she cranked the electric blanket on the bed (which was SO comfortable!), pulled the blinds and allowed me to sleep the entire afternoon of my arrival so I could avoid jetlag.
