Although the check-in time is up until 10 p.m. the host family was kind enough to wait for my arrival - around midnight. Very friendly hosts, gave us lots of tips and information. Great
breakfasts and added bonus of computer and printer for guest use. First
impression was of a generous host offering a welcome and refreshments
with a smile. Highly recommend and will stay again should we have the
opportunity. Away from city noise so a great nights sleep on a
wonderfully comfortable bed. Bus is right outside and you are in the
city in no time. Also bus travels to airport from across the street.

Dee and Liam were the absolute best innkeepers we have encountered in
years! Dee spent at least 30 minutes giving us very useful information
about what to see, how to get there, where to eat, etc. In short, she
was like our own first class travel agent. Our room was clean and
spacious, the breakfast was excellent, and once again, I can't say
enough about how Dee and Liam made our entire trip.
We enjoyed ourselves so much that when we return to Ireland, we'll stay at Brookville and use it as our

I was greeted personally they called me on my way from the airport. I was dreading the noise as it is in very busy /noisy Temple Bar but my suite ( Bram Stoker) was not on street ... so it was quiet .. and they provide ear plugs . ITs a vry urban environment so if you re looking for views or sense of space its not a place for you. The room are large however and otherwise perfect . Will use it again .

This adorable place was so nice, clean and comfortable. The owners were just a delight. Our room was wonderful and comfortable. Location was perfect just outside of town about a few miles and easy access to the bus system into town center. Breakfast was amazingly great and filling!! I would recommend to everyone to stay here if you want a quieter setting but still be very close to town center. Also they have a beautiful outside garden area and the flowers are just beautiful.

The woman running the B 'n' B was friendly, helpful, accommodating to all our needs. My daughter and her one year old child were travelling in Ireland for 10 days. We stayed our first 2 days here. We enjoyed it so much we could have stayed here for the entire time, so we asked if she had room for us for our last 2 days when we returned to Dublin.

Bed was the comfiest i have ever slept in, pillows were fluffy. Hygiene Standards were the highest i have seen.
Room was decorated to a high standard and was well equiped.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was gorgeous, it was clear that the food provided was of a high standard and after some discussion with staff member it was clear that alot of thought went into quality and taste, yummy and there was plenty of it too.

The Lorcan B&B is superbly located between the airport and town, right on the bus line for easy access to downtown. The rooms are larger than most B&B rooms I have seen in Dublin, and are immaculately kept with en-suite bathrooms and very spacious showers. It's an excellent value for the price and the food and facilities are top notch.

Absolutely loved this hotel! Was weighing up whether to stay at the Westbury or her and we were so glad we picked the Shelbourne! It is just in a class of its own and seems to have more on at night too. You could just sit in the elegant foyer and people-watch all day! We are regular visitors to Dublin and always stay at the Roxford Lodge. The staff couldn't be more helpful and accommodating. Nothing is too much trouble...even arriving early in the morning. As my mother lived close by I asked Nuala, the proprietor, whether my mother could join me for breakfast on the first morning. Stayed for 5 nights on July 2013. I had great experience. The location couldn't be more central, just 2 minutes walk from Temple Bar and 5 minutes from Dublin Castle. The rooms are very large and very well equipped and the bed extremely comfortable. The facilities are very modern but the interior designing is pleasant and warm. Breakfast contains wide selection of fresh products. The staff was friendly, outreaching and very efficient. They provided a lot of accurate information about the city
