I loved the experience. As a first timer in Canada and from a warm
country as Ghana, the ammenities (heater and hot shower) served a great
purpose.friendly reception too from host. Very helpful with everything I
needed. Memorable first experience. -

The owner is incredibly kind and friendly. A fantastic breakfast was cooked fresh with organic cereals made by the host. There is a puppy on premises (a mini poodle) but this made the stay more pleasant for me. The host is great company during breakfast (I travelled solo) and was a great resource for sight seeing. Kind and considerate hosts. Delicious and healthy breakfasts prepared by lovely Lisa. Easy walk to Bloor Street and the subway.

The location is excellent. It's a bit away from the city center, and in the middle of a university campus area. Best of all, it's right by a subway station with access to both the light rail and a streetcar line.
The building is a series of old mansions that have been refurbished as a hotel, and it's comfortable and clean. There is a pretty good pub right on the premises, too.

My stay was absolutely perfect. The staff is friendly and polite. The room and bathroom were large with a nice terrace.
We stayed during the TIFF, a Valmont facial was offered with the room (indeed, we love valmont!!!). The SPA is great. I recommend the manicurist who is amazing!
ONE restaurant is very good, the staff again is extremely nice.

I meant to write 'enjoyed' last time. The staff are wonderful,
and the prices in the bar are fair (one time I had 2 guests, and we had
2 coffees, a dessert and a hot chocolate, and the bill was only
cad$13.00! And the apples at the front desk are very welcome. -

From the moment we arrived at the check in desk until the time we
checked out, we were treated like royalty. I cannot say enough good
things about all the staff. They were professional, friendly, efficient
and helpful. Their goal (and they succeeded) was to make our stay as
