Location was perfect for my needs - I could walk to pretty much everywhere I wanted to go; staff were very helpful and the bar downstairs had a great atmosphere and awesome music! The tours organised by the hostel were really good - I learnt a lot about the area and it was a great way to meet people. -

The first time I stayed I did not eat at the Indian resteraunt, but this time I did and it was excellent. Great salad bar, entrees and desserts. I was surprised to see a delightful Indian restaurant attached to the hotel. I did not get to eat there but it smelled wonderful from the moment I checked in.
The hotel was very clean and seemed to have been remodeled recently. Carpet is not often that clean. The continental breakfast was more than usually offered. Staff were very helpful.
The bed was extremely comfortable & location was suitable. I will go back.

The staff at Bishop are grand. I had an amazing time there, and it attracts a great crowd of travellers. The hostel is laid back and warm, it was a real pleasure to stay in. Moreover, the beds were very comfortable, so was the bedding. The rooms were well kept.

The hotel is a Victorian house and so had the more personal touch, the service was excellent and the location was very central to shopping etc. There was air conditioning available so we could adjust the room temperature accordingly. The beds were extremely comfortable and the shower was hot and easy to use.
