This is a wonderful, spacious, clean and charming studio apartment in a fantastic convenient location, adjacent to Castro station and the main tram line 'f', which zips you to all the key areas. Everything you could possibly wish for is provided, and even things you didn't know you needed! Felt just like a home from home - I was genuinely gutted to leave after a week. An unforgettable birthday treat for me and one that I will highly recommend to others.
all reviews » The staff was attentive; Wyatt was great and super friendly. The apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed and then some. The location is absolutely great-a half block walk to the Muni and about a block to a bus, either which will get you to any neighborhood in San Francisco. The Castro District was dotted with great restaurants, shops and businesses providing anything you could need. Lovely flat with lots of space for a family. Great to have such a luxury kitchen with thoughtful details for travellers who dont want to buy everything from scratch. Washing machine a big bonus!. It was a home away from home with a detailed description of all the facilities and area. Had smaller personal touches and that made it easier with young children- fantastic place to stay. The studio apartment is charming, very nicely decorated and clean. The location is also very convenient. There are numerous helpful guides in the apartment. It was our last stop from a long trip. Best place we stayed in. Perfectly located. Studio was large, clean, with lots of amenities and beautiful. Loved the apartment and the fun location. Master bed very comfortable. Great space. Great support from the Property Manager. The location and facilities were excellent. I would definitely stay here again and recommend Casa Luna to my friends. the apartment is complete, you dont need to bring all the other stuff you will need since they all have it there. Location and facilities really good, so close to everything and transport links on doorstep. Extremely comfortable apartment in a cool location, with great access to a wonderful city. Great kitchen and living area. Free laundry, essential with baby. Comfy beds. The location was excellent. So bad. The street was being torn up, so it was dusty and smelly. Also, the house next door was undergoing major renovations, but we were warned ahead of time and given an opportunity to opt out of the contract. They worked from 8 AM-5PM, so we were never around to hear the noise, so we were not inconvenienced. The street just wasn't visually appealing though. There was noone to meet us as we had been given the door combination, but we couldnt work it as door fiddly. Luckily cleaner was around. More explanation of door needed. Flat not v sound proof with loud neighbours. Bit of noise from upstairs but that did not bother me as it was minimum- I was more concerned that if I could hear them then they could hear my young kids, but im guessing that most people would not stay in this studio with children anyway. As others have mentioned, the noise from the apartment above can be bothersome, depending on the guests occupying it. Had to take out the trash upon checkout, seems a bit excessive while paying a cleaning fee. Our unfortunate timing. The road works outside the front door all day, every day, so noisy and dusty and street was closed so taxi had to drop off and pick us up a bit far for our suitcase carry. Also, the neighbouring house had workmen start work at 6.45am, so we were surrounded by noise from dawn until dusk. I suspect it would have been a peaceful haven. The Spa bath wasn't functional in the Carriage House. The steps might be difficult for old people but still its worth the visit. Soundproofing from flat above could be better but I think I had a particularly noisy family!. No storage in one of the bedrooms apart from small narrow wardrobe. The noise from the apartment above. Every thing was baaaaaaaaaaaad Dirty .. Nuisance .. All the tools do not work .. Broken air conditioner .. No Parking. It us not for human use ..
