Staff was on point - very accomodating, very friendly. Very convenient subway location (39 av).

Hard to find things to complain about, but the showers were a bit weak. Rooms can also get a bit cold. Washrooms could have had better ventilation. Needs to provide body wash. Weak wi-fi signal sometimes. Surrounding area a bit dead/boring with not much to see.

The hotel was very good for the price. The location is not so fancy but it is good that the subway station was very close and only two stops to the Manhattan. The personnel of the hotel was very kind and helpful. For a short time stay in NYC I would recommend this hotel.

This hotel is perfectly located to get into the city and to dine locally. The rooms are fantastic and large, and the breakfast is a nice touch. The staff was very helpful to me in receiving and shipping packages. I cannot say enough good things about it.

The Hotel located in a safe neighbourhood at Astoria with in a walking distance from Steinway Street which is full of Middle Eastern Restaurants and Delights. Beside all the above the complimentary WiFi is good and the continental Breakfast is excellent. It is a very nice retreat at New York.

Generally speaking the Pros far outweigh the Cons if any because I found none so far.

They didn't give me a new shampoo after I use it all. The bathroom they didn't clean it. Except those, everything is fine.

We loved the style of the interior design of the room and the size of the room was fantastic! We absolutely loved having the private balcony in our room. And the staff at the hotel were amazing! Grest customer service!!

Excellent hotel with friendly helpful staff. Subway 2 blocks away (approx 5 mins walk). Nice clean room & fresh towels daily. Good basic breakfast. I would definitely stay here again & would recommend to friends.

The room we were in, I could sometimes here the subway train early in the morning, this was not too concerning & I'm sure if we stayed in Manhattan it would have been a lot noisier.

The location of this hotel can't be beat. It's a 2-minute walk to the subway station and there are two delis within a minute for simple needs and food. You can be in Times Square in less than 30 minutes and from there, all over the city. The cost was very affordable. We saved over $100/night compared to Midtown Manhattan by parking on the street for free and having a less expensive hotel room. The room was a little small, but well decorated (simple) and very clean. The cleaning service did a good job. The staff (Chad and Marquis) were excellent. They were very friendly and accommodating. I'd stay here again with no reservations.

Our room was on the first floor, which is right behind the main desk. The foyer was noisy at times and the walls are particularly thin. It disrupted sleep a little.

Clean comfortable bedroom. Clean bathroom. Very friendly, helpful, and professional staff. When we had a problem with our room, they sent someone to solve it immediately. Very good location, one block from the subway (2 minute walk), subway ride to Times Square is 15 minutes. The bedroom's got a safe. Good value for money (breakfast is included). When we checked out, we could leave our bags at the hotel, and pick them up later on.

Breakfast was basic and should have a bit more variety. They should keep refilling it.

The staff at this hotel are exceptional; very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The room we had was on the 8th floor with a kitchenette; amazing 180 degree views of Manhattan. Good continental breakfast. Free wifi good except on upper floors, so we used the lobby; the staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. Location brilliant; only two stops to Manhattan, shops, restaurants all walking distance. Fantastic value for money, but book ahead.

The lift was sometimes tied up in the morning because it is also a service lift, but you just have to use patience and plan around it; no big deal. The internet service on the top floors needs to be improved.

Location fantastic, unlimited breakfast fantastic (bagels and other yanky treats), staff very helpful and accommodating, clean rooms (and cleaned daily), view of manhattan skyline, cool neighbourhood, the chinese takeaway a block away, free Wifi (although slightly ropey at times), air conditioning, quiet...

The only thing I would say was a negative was the air conditioning was louder than the subway. This was only noticeable at night when the rooms tend to be a bit warmer.

surroundings not very appealing, breakfast quite basic (although still a bit above others with comparable standard), no fresh fruits ir veggies low water pressure in the shower, no hot water for a couple of days (there was AN information in the lobby 'bout some works etc. but still pretty substandard if you have to shower in lukewarm water for almost a week)

The view from our balcony is incredible. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The room is very modern and spacious.

Breakfast needs to have more options and selections. Continental should consist of hot items such as waffles, eggs, and have way more selections for bagels and yogurt.

The location was awesome ! 1 minute away from the metro station that goes directly in Manhattan (time square, wall street...) No parking, but we parked on the street where it is free ! Good breakfast The beds are awesome ! The view of manhattan from the little balcony

I had a great time at hotel Vetiver. The staff are nice and really helpful. The room is bigger than I thought. Plus, it's so nice, comfy, and clean. The location is incredible. You can walk for 2min to subway and 10min to time square. And the price is not to crazy.

Although the room was small, it had a balcony which was perfect to look out over the city at night. The A.C. worked really good and the bed was super comfortable. I Loved the bathroom!!!

Excellent location, very close to 3 train stations that made easy to go any where, a few stops from Manhatan. The staff was very nice and helpful with our needs.

The room and its bathroom were clean, but the halls seemed to be dirty or need more mantainance. I booked this hotel that offered a continental breakfast, and it was poor, just baggles and cereals. The breakfast should not be offered as continental, it is just a morning coffee.

No wardrobes or drawers in room so problem with clothes storage. Breakfast was a waste of time.
