The hotel staff were very friendly and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel was excellent as it was a 1/2 a block from Times Square with a subway station at the end of the street. This hotel is very close to times square (1 minute walk). The room were comfortable.The location of the hotel was just perfect. The location was fab, right near time square and everything within walking distance! Not the best hotel but excellent value for money! You get what you pay for.all reviews »
I have used no taxi or subway, only walking. There is clean and big rooms, and a lot of entertaiments in hotel area. You will ha-a-apy :) Enjoy. Location was fantastic, so close to Times Square. The room we had was very clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful.the location and the beds are so comfortable and very nice staffs. Pleasantly surprised by Prompt staff response to Two problems - a neighbor's noisy TV and A/C still installed - both immediately resolved .Location, Customer Service (bilingual), Renovated room. comfy beds/ convenient location/ relatively quiet. Location is the best. price and location. It was so close to Time Square it was brillant, Evergreen Diner across road was superb, Langans next door for meals and drinks also Playwrights on 49th Street was superb , very clean room and comfy bed, room was cleaned everday fresh towels etc. The location of the Hotel was fantastic, close to Times Square and alot of major sights.The location of the hotel, quiet room, clean room. The room was very small, didn't get told about church next door and bells ringing, but it got us up. No clock in the room and T.V. was bad.It looks like they are in the process of updating the hotel. The ones that are not updated are not very nice and too small. even if room are small, price/location are too great to complain. The bathroom and the furniture were very old.my room was not entirely cleaned (hair on my bed, etc). A very minor thing, in that the room access keys kept on failing andneeded to be reset (problem being on the top floor).The room is really really small. If your luggage is big, you won't fit. It's more like a hostel in some ways. The room was tiny and missingsimple things like a towel holder. Same for the shared bathroom (whichis one person at a time, btw).i have a reservation and when i arrive, i had not the rooms. the problem was resolved, but it is a bad thing. also, the room is too little at the shared rooms. The room was not very interesting needs some color. The noise the heating pipes made at 6am and also the dark and dingy decor. the air-freshener in my room smelled too strong unfortunately... and I didn't manage to open the window. plus, there were way too few channels on the TV which actually worked...Small rooms, however it is normal for New York. Shared bathrooms. Understanably, the photos on the website reflected the better rooms available. We wanted to stay for as cheap as possible and as centre as possible, so it didn't bother us too much. If we paid more, we might've had one of the rooms in the photos. it was too old and looked dirty.
