Renovation above the second floor are complete and the room was small but very well appointed and very clean. The location was perfect just off Time Square. The staff was very good and took care of me finding a nice quiet room on the 7th floor. I only hope the rates don't increase too much before my next trip. The location was perfect, the hotel was clean, the staff was veryhelpful. Overall, it was the perfect place to stay during our honeymoon.all reviews »
Central for all amenities. Room was compact on North American generous spaces but was superb for our needs. Very nice rooms very up to date as they just renovated. Very clean and modern looking. the central localisation. The stuff was pretty and the room was confortable. The room was very clean, with nice decor.Location was great. Staff very helpful. Elevators are slow and have little capacity (4 pers). The lift was very slow and could not hold alot. yes rooms are very small on this point i think the prices for the rooms was not a fair price way over priced. Not enough wardrobe space for 2 people staying a week (and shopping), but we could cope with this using the drawers of the desk.Room small, lift very slow second lift not working. not really, construction but a means to a good end. the staff. No, it was a very enjoyable stay. Room was a little small. The elevators and stairway. lifts were very slow. Elevator service was painfully slow. The room was on the 5th floor and most times the stairs were a better option when not carrying luggage.it was still being refurbished so no bar, restaurant etc, was also quite noisy at night due to location although the excellent location on times square makes up for both points raised. The elevator was too small for over four people to be on, at one time.With my wife's wheelchair,there was only room for us and maybe one other person.The other problem was,whenever the elevator ewas coming down to our floor,it would already be full and we would have to wait a very long time to be able to get down.We waited several times for 20 minutes or more,and that led us to be very irritated.The lifts (elevators) were erratic and unable to cope with more than three people in one of them. This may be temporary as the hotel is being renovated. The elevators were a nightmare especially as my wife is disabled. too noisy. I did not like the liftgate... I stayed in the top floor and everytime I had to wait for at least 15 minutes to be able to use the elevator.Like I mentioned the closeness in proximatey to patrons in the hallways, and the soundproofing of the doors, it was not pleasant, at 3:00 am when someonewould pass the room and you could hear there entire conversation. room was so small...really small. to get to bed I literally had to crawl over my suitcase since it occupied most of the free space. On the other hand I didn't spend much time in the hotel, so I consider it a minor inconvenience.Elevators, elevators... I think the breakfast could be included in the price.I couldn't get the wireless internet to work and the lifts are very slow.
