The view from my room 3615 was once of the best I've ever seen. I also liked the staff of the hotel and the Tick Tock diner next door.

My shower wasn't working when i first got there and they fixed it immediately. The staff were super friendly and the hotel was in the most perfect location. I absolutely will be staying there again!!

No bar/restaurant and i found the Tick Tock Diner next door to not have enough choice.

Great postion for amenities eg subway, shopping deli's

There was no seats or very few in the reception area

We got a refurbished room, and were the first guests to use it. The hotel is in a great location, easy to navigate around NYC from there. All staff were very friendly and curtious. And the Pizza place on the corner of 8th and 33rd has the best slices ever!

It had a great location, and the renovated rooms were very nice and comfortable. A pretty good size for a NYC hotel.

friendly staff....near all the attractions....felt super safe in this hotel....they card ppl past a certain time during the night...

everything was renovated except the bathroom...but overall pleasant experience!

We had a lovely view from our room on 37th floor and beds are very comfortable and decorated in the Art Deco style.

Rooms are on the small side

Central location. Short walk to Times Square, theatre district and Empire State Building. One block away from Penn Station, and connection to Newark Airport. One block away from Macy's. Subway stop outside. Large room, newly decorated

Noise from the street (8th Ave and 34th St) all through the night, but this is not unusual for Manhattan.

The convenient location, the Art Deco style, the two restaurants accessible from indoors, the courteous service, a nicely and soberly decorated room.

A more spacious room would have been appreciated, as well as a standard Queen size bed ; the one we had was barely larger than a standard double bed.

The position was excellentand the information staff and concierge were all very helpfull.

By Austraalian standards it was expensive for the size of the rooms and no breakfast. However I realise that by New York standards it was normal.

great location, comfortable, clean and quiet room. we've had some bad experiences with new-york hotels in the past - problems with hot water, space of rooms, slow elevators, etc. the new-yorker hotel was wonderful. and great design, too!

the hotel was very central, only a few blocks away from the main attractions also it was well known with the cab drivers witch made it easier

Nevertheless, I have enjoyed my stay with excellent services, staffs & clean rooms.

THe room is extremely small for the price I am paying, I could get bigger room just a few streets down, even nearer to Times Square. THe lights in the room is very dim with the yellow lights, thus making the room look even smaller.

A stunning art deco building, renovated beautifully without compromising the original style. Plus the view onto the Empire State Building directly from the bedroom.

the service was not particularly friendly and personal, but with 800 rooms, it's not exactly a surprise...

the location is perfect, just few meters from the blu subway line, and the complementary internet war really appreciated

they charge you for leaving the baggage few hour in the hotel after you checked out
