I loved the rooftop bar! It has a beautiful view of Madison Square Garden and then the world trade towers in the distance. The rooms and hotel were clean and filled with friendly staff and guests. I also loved the selection of complimentary breakfast. It was very convenient for me to grab something quick before leaving. I also loved the huge shower!. It is a nice and quite hotel. Rooms are convenient though not luxurious and beds very comfortable. Internet is included and fast enough for the backpacker to do occasional research on restaurants, facilities etc.Location is ideal to visit Manhattan, harbor etc. This hotel has a rooftop with nice view.

Was pleasantly surprised by the size of our room & good sized bathroom. Roof-top lounge & bar was also amazing and our free breakfast was extensive and delicious. Convient city travel since only 1 block from Penn Station. Overall, a wonderful time!. Arriving very late in the evening without luggage due to flight delays we were made very welcome by staff. Complimentary toiletries and offer of further assistance was provided which set the tone for a pleasant stay. Easy access to Penn Station for our onward journey to Boston. Thank you. I loved everything about this hotel. It was clean, the location was perfect and the staff was awesome! Not sure if you can blame the hotel for this, but I was woken up twice in the middle of the night by guests coming back late and having loud conversations in the corridors. Breakfast room radiates the charm and atmosphere of a train station. Nothing. The plastic cups in the room, we would have really liked to drink from glass instead. We were told they could not give out glass for the room, pretty silly at $400.00 a night. The inability of desk staff to explain the need to debit my credit card before I had even got to the bedroom!! In other countries one's credit card details are recorded but no money is taken until needed. Long waits for the elevators. Had the same breakfast for 6 days. Some variation would have been great. Expensive for the standard it provides. liked everything. Can't think of anything I didn't like. Getting there was a little confusing as there are several Fairfield Inn's in Manhattan. Visitors need to make sure they have the right one. Lifts were too slow. Housekeeping sprays something on the carpet to make it smell better but it smells terrible. Had to switch rooms due to the strong odor in our first room. No view from either room we had. Nothing else to do on the block it is located on. Not a huge issue tho. Nothing....NO complaints.. The front desk staff wasn't friendly. we had to switch rooms because the first room had some kind of leak causing the floor to be soaking wet. overall rooms and bathrooms were great, a little small though. Everything was good except the lifts were slow, but that's a minor inconvenience. Nothing. Plastic cups n plates for hot good n drink. Bed far too soft .can not get room higher up if book through third party . I was unawsre of extended Amount of taxes added to my Bill. I Was not notified prior to booking or during my stay. I was highly dissapointed that the roof top lounge was closed for the season. While checking in, host told me to check out the lounge and was opened till 11pm. Receiption staff were not so attentive, while the rest of staff couldn't do enough for you. Nothing. The room was small, but cozy. We would have preferred to eat our breakfast with actually cutlery and plates rather than all-plastic. But the food and choices were OK. bar on the roof appeared to be closed for the winter. The transportation service called by the hotel cheat with the price, I recommend regular taxi to go to the airport. la rue un peu triste. nothing. cost. The breakfast could have had some fresh croissants and perhaps higher discount on parking. Don´t expect too much from the breakfast, but it´s there. Terrible elevator system. Air conditioner noise. Why not at breakfast freshly baked bread for the european guests?. No problem at all.
