The best hotel experience I have ever had. Marvellous staff, good breakfast, always something to eat and drink in Rick´s Cafe. Quiet rooms, luxury bathrooms, cleaning every day, very polite staff, the best situated hotel in town right in the middle of everything. If I ever go back to New York I will absolutely go back to this hotel. Stayed 5 nights with my sister in November 2008. Staff was very pleasant and accomodating. Hotel,room and bathroom were beautiful. Enjoyed and appreciated complimentary wineandcheese offered before show, allowed us have leisurely late meal after show. Breakfast was great. We were able to leave our luggage to shop for a while the next day, which was very helpful. Overall REALLY liked hotel, would go back!!.

The extras such as the Cheese and Wine in the evening and complimentary breakfast, turn down service and excellent staff attentiveness make all the difference. Also, there are no 'extras' to pay ie internet, room service etc. excellent service. cleanliness of hotel. extra amenities such as included continental breakfast and wine and cheese in early evening.This hotel is like staying in a bed and breakfast. You feel like a member of the family, and the other guests are your friends. Generally, a very peaceful sanctury only 10 metres off times square/broadway. It was difficult to adjust the heat, I left my windows open. Window facea courtyard that was not scenic.Nothing we did not like, just suggestions..steam extraction in the bathroom would be an improvement though the ceiling fan meant that this was not a big problem. Also as there are no in room coffee facilities it would have been nice to have bottled water in the room every day instead of the wonderful complimentary choclate bars!. All the taxes!
