Very friendly and welcoming, nothing was to much. I love the hotel because it felt real homelike.Very nice lady behind the reception. we love this hotel. The hotel was beautiful and cozy and in the perfect location. The staff was incredible, so friendly and welcoming and very helpful when it came to recommendations. Roz is amazing!!!!! We arrived about 5 hours prior to check in and due to room availability we were able to check in immediately, thank you so much for that!! They were also fabulous about a late check out allowing for one last shower!.

Beautiful room!. Bathroom and traditional mexican furniture in room. Exellent Italian restaurant next door. Location, one block from ocean drive. Selected as alternative to hotel near to airport for overnight stay prior to flying back next day because the combined price of hotel $99 and taxi fare $33.50 (one way) compared favourably with airport hotels. Plus we had the beach and no aircraft noise!. The hotel has a nice, romantic outlook.The hotel design, few rooms and excellent service. Excellent location. Cosy hotel. Very small lobby, no drink or food service. Breakfast served next door.The hotel advertised wireless internet but had no signal. That isunacceptable. I am very upset about that. I needed it for work. lack of elevator to first floor. Breakfast is not good. Rooms are small and have a view to the neighbor building. Front desk forgot my wake up call.I was not informed on arrival of the free breakfast aqnd its location. The Hotel has 1 major problem: it is quite noisy especialy early in the morning.The shower curtain was moldy. The air conditioner fan blew right across the head of the bed. It was too stuffy to turn it off. Did not have our reservation on file when we arrived and tried to put us at a hotel next door until I complained to a manager; then they suddenly had a room available for us. noise from club behind the hotel and dust and noise from building work at next door hotel. Very noisy Did not get any sleep teh first night due to the qfact that ther is a night club at the back of the hotel.

Driving Directions from Miami International Airport:
Follow exit signs to LeJeune Road South. Exit onto SR836 East which becomes I-395 toward Miami Beach and follow directions from I-395 below.

Driving Directions from Fort Lauderdale International Airport:
Follow exit signs to I-95 South. Continue to Miami and exit at I-395 toward Miami Beach and follow directions from I-395 below. I-395 becomes the MacArthur Causeway. Turn right as you cross the bridge to Miami Beach and you will be on 5th Street. Turn left onto Washington Avenue. Go up seven blocks then turn right on 13th Street. Make another right onto Collins Avenue. The hotel reception entrance is on the right between 13th and 12th Street.
