This is a lovely Key West style resort located just off the quiet end of Duvall Street. The facility is charming, well kept and very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful without being overbearing. We felt comfortable relaxing by the pool and having and drink or sitting in the AC in our room. We walked to all of the excitement of Duvall Street as well as the beaches of Key West.

The grounds/pools/hot tubs were lovely and well-maintained. Breakfast was good and decently priced. It was also great having a nice little bar right downstairs from our room, and the people we met there were all friendly and fun. Dane the bartender is awesome. The whole staff is so welcoming. The location is great, it's an easy walk to all the action but once you're at Pearl's it's quiet and relaxing. There's a bike rental place down the street and I highly recommend renting a bike to get around. You can't go wrong at Pearl'S. Front desk staff was incredibly helpful in giving us recommendations of places to eat and visit and researching some questions for us. They even recommended a boat tour and booked it for us. That is service that is, unfortunately, rarely seen anymore in the "service" industry. Thanks so much!. We've been going to Pearl's for a long time (over 10 years). It was better as a women-only guest house, but still very nice and very gay. There is plenty of pool side lounge chairs and the pool bar is great. They also have pool towels, which you can take to the beach. Just half block from Duval St (west end) one block from southernmost beach and southernmost point in USA. Restaurants and bars within 5 minute walk. Hotel has a nice bar with plenty of specials. There are two swimming pools and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. Room was beautiful and clean with a quiet atmosphere. Pools & spas were enclosed/private with bar onsite. Resort is conveniently located near the popular spots. We also enjoyed the semi-private lanai's on each side of our building. You are in the city but can walk in 5 min to the beach. Nice pool area and garden, quiet location and still only few steps from the main street Duval. City bus to the shopping malls runs from the next street crossing in every 30 min. I loved that the pool (and hot tub) is 24 hours!! The staff was super nice, we even got a tour of the hotel upon check in. The bar right next to the pool is nice. The place is spread over a few buildings so it never felt crowded. The staff were very friendly and most helpful. Our room was nice with a balcony that we liked. It would have been nice to have a bigger (e.g., queen size) bed, although we were pretty comfortable even in the double bed. Although most of the time Pearl's was a quiet oasis, not so much around 3 AM when the raucous spring break crowd returned to their room(s), but given the Duval Street location and relatively low prices I guess that was unavoidable. Not a huge issue, but the wireless internet did not work in our room, even though the router was in the hallway right outside our door. Leaving. I didn't like the soap, shampoo, and lotion provided in a dispenser in the room. They didn't smell very good and we ran out of shower gel and had to then use soap from the sink. Lack of a parking lot. While we recognize the economic difficulties of running what was formerly an all-women's resort, the sense of community is reduced. We had looked forward to being able to let our guard down. The room was not extravagant, and it had a strong cleaning agent odor, but it was very comfortable. A little tough parking. Meter parking on the street was expensive so you needed to park away from the Hotel. Rooms were a little small, but if you are just staying there to sleep, it was a minor inconvenience. The tiny room we had was very damp. It was in a small shed at the back of the property. Very nice location, but the room was so damp, we could feel wetness under our feet. The bathroom door was a louvre door. So when someone got up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, the light was pretty bright through the louvre. Room needed a chair but this wasn't a big deal. Parking. Parking. Wifi was weak. There wasnt a wifi actually. The room was a bit small, but it wouldn't keep me from coming back. The air conditioner made noise all the tine we were there. The Internet did not work in the room but was very good in the common areas. Ice was scarce, no outside food or drink at pool while bar was open, smaaalll shower. The room was a bit small and out dated. Pearls has a patio and bar area which is adjacent to ground floor rooms and despite the signs people are noisy to the early hours which is no good if you have an early start.Key West is a party town so this is probably not unique to Pearls. Needs more general light in room. Bath tub needs refinishing. the Wi-fi not available everywhere. Rain, rain and more rain,,,. Shower head wasn't the best. - Beds were uncomfortable - Breakfast was not included. Bed was old and sagged to middle ... very uncomfortable. Carpeting seemed very dirty. AC unit very noisy Parking Poor. The guests and behaviour of the guests, very poor on the hotels behalf not to take these issues serious. SEcondly they charged my credit card for half 3 weeks before, and I was in Colombia at the time and my card was cancelled. Awful Breakfast Small,Dark,uncomfortable room Noisy air conditioner:unbearable Overpriced.
