We stayed here for 4 nights as part of a 2 wk tour of Florida and thoroughly loved it. We would happily have stayed longer. It's a small B&B but we loved everything about it, from the friendly welcoming, helpful staff, to the traditional, quaint rooms which have a real home from home feel. Everything was spotlessly clean, breakfast was simple but offered lots of choice and was not rushed. We had a room by the pool that was clean and with a good sized renovated bathroom. Simple but filling breakfast with fresh cut fruit. Reception is closed after 6p, but are available for emergencies after hours. Staff went above and beyond - when our toilet plugged up late one night, one of the staff graciously came by to fix the problem quickly. It was quiet and friendly; the porch on the front was great for people watching and drinking a few beers or glasses of wine before going out. Although there were a number of older couples staying there, it felt like home in the sense that everyone was friendly and said hi. The receptionist was super-friendly and even kept the free breakfast out longer than she was supposed to in order to ensure everyone ate. I loved the quant rooms and the very friendly staff. The location of Duval Gardens was perfect. We were close to the action of Duval street but yet far enough away for it to be quite and romantic. The breakfast buffet in the morning on the front porch was not only delicious but a wonderful way to start your morning. The staff was more than accommodating. Following check out we got drenched in the pouring rain, the staff very kindly lent us towels and somewhere warm to change our drenched clothing, we appreciated this a great deal and again wish to convey our thanks.
