I spent just one night in this hotel on my way to Yellowstone. I stayed in one of the cabin which was amazing very good beds very warm room (it was snowing outside, in May!). The concierge was very helpful and the place is three blocks from the central square. There is also a very nice diner just across the street which serves a very good breakfast. Definitively a place to stay when in Jackson.
all reviews » We stayed in a log cabin, which was great. It was well appointed and had a nice verandah out the front. We liked the free home baked cookies, fruit and hot drinks. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Jackson is a great centre for visiting the Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. There was a stop for the free shuttle bus around Jackson just down the road. We liked everything about this motel. We stayed in a two room cabin for 6 nights. The grounds were beautiful and quiet. We (party of 4) were provided all we needed, like shampoo, soaps, towels etc. Walking distance to town square, restaurants, and the county fair grounds. Really comfortable. Staff were ALL great. They went above and beyond to insure our comfort. I was impressed with how clean and nice the room was when I walked in. Lots of fluffy down pillows on the beds, a nice flat screen TV, didnt seem chintzy like a lot of hotel's felt cozy, rustic, yet not at all downscale. Bathroom was well appointed, with nice touches. And the fan was on when I walked in, perfect temperature when it was 10 below outside. We were pleasantly surprised on the location and the facility. The staff was excellent and we truly enjoyed the say. The location was wonderful and within walking distance of the main town location and all activities. We will be back next year and stay at the Elk Country Inn. We rented the cottage with kitchen for our family. It was very clean, and everything during our stay was perfect. Loved the log cabins. The town of Jackson is also very quaint - weren't sure what to expect, so we were very happy with the entire experience. The location of the hotel is great which is just beside the Hwy so that it's easy to find even at night. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, and there's a full kitchen which very useful. Also quiet at night. We stayed in one of the excellent cabins at the rear of the main hotel. Overall level of facilities was excellent - all fixtures and fitting were good quality. A very short walk to the center of Jackson and all its facilities. Top notch Inn. Fresh fruit in am and delicious homemade cookies were available in the pm. the motel was A terrific value, especially for jackson, wyoming. in all my years going to jackson I never got A price this reasonable. I couldn'T believe the accomodations and services for the price. The inn is clean, comfortable, great location - easy walk around town - combined with the shuttle to Jackson Hole Resort it's a great place to stay. We will stay again and will recommend to friends. the professionalism of the people at the desk to compensate the closure of the national parks ( gvt shutdown) with trip proposals and the level of equipments ( complete kitchen and nice room). 2 room cabin very nice & comfy. Cute, quaint, just right!. the exercise area was small but works well. It was sometimes noisy due to nearby roadworks / construction, but that is obviously not the fault of the hotel. The hot tub was wonderful, but the kids would have liked a heated pool also. No big deal though. Hot tub appreciated after busy days of activity. Minor: the beds at first looked like they were made out of real wood with a rustic, home-made look, yet I looked closer, and was not as sure they were real wood. But it certainly did not affect my stay. Nothing. Balcony on the cabin we stayed in faced northwards so limited sunshine when sitting outside. The only criticism Is that the bathroom exhaust fan was noisy. No real negatives, couple of things a little worn - one bathroom faucet could use replacing. construction going on nearby, but that's not their fault. can't think of anything. Carpet in hallway stained but that was the only negative. Pillows were lumpy but soft. I prefer foam pillows. Nothing that I can think of. Fair amount of road noise (our cabin was the closest to the road). There was no freezer in the refrigerator. We chose the cabins specifically because they had kitchenettes. This feature saved us money on eating out; however, not having a freezer limited what we could prepare. Nothing. The herd of elephants occupying the room upstairs , thankfully went to sleep at a reasonable hour. No breakfast service. I would suggest working out a deal for coupons to Bubba's, which is next door. The road works were quite loud, the cabins are too close together. Spreadeagled layout and lack of eating facilities in hotel. That said, plenty of restaurants within a 10-minute walk. The log cabins are nice, but thought for the price, they could be a little more luxurious. AC was a little too loud. nothing, everything down to the fresh cookies was great. No disliked. Enjoyed our stay. No complaints. Fridge in our unit was very small with no freezer. Next cabin down fridge was twice the size wit freezer. Cost was too high for the cabin. N/A. The front receptionist was a little defensive when we asked to see the room before we decided on whether we were going to stay 2 nights. After viewing the room, everything was good and we had 2 enjoyable days in Jackson Hole and the Elk Country lodge. Only grizzle was no china or porcelain cups in room to enjoy our tea/coffee,only disposables. 1. No breakfast served. 2. Yellowstone Park was closed (by the politicians, not the motel of course, but we didn't get to see Old Faithful, the main purpose of our visit!). A group of very obnoxious young men on the second floor. They were excessively loud and out of control!. Nothing. there was an odor in the stairway that was not pleasant. the carpet needs to be cleaned or replaced.
