We loved the staff and their extreme helpfulness and consideration of our needs. They did everything they could to make us comfortable and welcome. We were traveling with a large family group and used several rooms. Their deck out back and bar area were highlights, as was the location in old downtown Fort Meyers. The hotel was pristine! Not a thing out of place and you felt like the utmost care was taken in both the room and public areas. The breakfast choices were generous, tasty and most importantly well kept up with...we will definitely be returning :).
all reviews » It is a beautiful location on the Caloosahatchee Waterway and within walking distance of good restaurants. Especially enjoyed spending time on their huge deck overlooking the yachts in the harbour. Very relaxing atmosphere. Everything was just as described on your site. Some of the negative reviews were unfounded by my visit. I found the property to be very well maintained, clean and a very accommodating staff. Absolutely spotless and clean! Staff even wash the few dirty dishes in the sink that we had left there one day. Loved the large living room/kitchen that was separate from the bedroom. We liked the position and the suite was lovely. Very close to downtown which was easily walkable with good restaurants. The staff was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. The staff went out of their way to be accommodating, especially Cary. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. We will definely return for our next baseball tournament. We were able to walk to a restaurant for dinner then stroll downtown afterwards. We also has the room right beside the pool and bar/TV on a football night- GREAT!. Could use a better breakfast. Air runs hot then cold. Limited breakfast, small room size, no privacy blinds on window. not much it was a good spot. Noisy on the first floor. If you stay, here make sure to try and get a room on the upper floor.. Breakfast. Minimum furnishing. Unfortunately on several visits to different ground floor rooms the shower/bathtub doesn't drain. Leaving you standing in twelve inches of dirty water. Rooms are otherwise clean but spartan..,. Motel 6 quality product, but at too high a price. May get better as new owners make improvements, but not there yet. Very small room.
