Smelled clean, appeared clean; was an older HoJo in the process of getting some improvements. The bed was comfortable, pillows great, sheets fresh clean smelled sanitary. Noise level acceptable. I would stay again for the price it was great! Pool area was nice, comfortable seating and umbrellas. Well equipped room with fridge, microwave oven, coffeemaker (and complimentary coffee). Restaurants nearby. Diverse (but unhealthy) breakfast with waffles, sugar coated cereals, sugary oatmeal, white toast.

Good value for price. Back location Quiet. I was next to pool. Friendly staff. large beds. For the budget price of the room, it was clean and comfy enough for our short, over night stay. It was quiet in our room, didn't hear noise from other rooms next to us. - mattresses & bedding were brand new therefore, very comfortable - location ideal - easy to get to. The beds were great and the bathroom was clean. Thenight staff that greeted uswas excellent. location, the front desk staff was good and answered any questions we had. The bed was comfortable and thebreakfast was okay- with waffles. bed comfortable bed. Cost was optimal. Location. Quietbb. I made the reservation through letsbookhotel.com with instructions that I would be arriving after midnight. The hotel never received it. The room was poorly fixed, as there were holes every where. Some was just patched over. At breakfast, the apple juice was spoiled and the waffles had a sour taste (don't know how that was even possible) Overall, this stay was bad. Luckily, it was only for one night. close to mall and other stores 15min away from fort Myers beach. The front desk woman was very gracious 7 accommodating. There was only one staff member on site. He was okay. location was good for where we were going. The price was not bad. Clean rooms. My stay was aweful. No internet access nasty room and roaches crawling all over wawalls .I don't always have to stay at the ritz , sometines jus a simple room is fine. Bubut this hotel should be shut down. The price was reasonable and the location was ok. Check-in and check-out were both quick and easy. nothing!!!!!!. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. The bathroom was a little out-dated; but on the mend it seemed. The hair dryer was on it's last legs. Woke up middle of the night to loud music blasting from cars driving around between the hotel and the main road. After a while the cops came and made an end to the "party". Room a bit worn out. Had to leave early for our flight. When I went to return the key and finalize my statement the door was locked. I rang the bell and no one came. The cost of having a pet was $20.00 per night. I thought that was a little too expensive. Bathtub/ shower was not totally up to par. Mentioned it to desk clerk-nothing was done about it. Nothing all was good. no breakfast. There was a baby lizard in the bathroom! Didn't mind him,tho - at least it wasn't a roach!. -stained carpets -loose water tap - cracks in stucco on walls & ceilings -room needs painting. Thebreakfas areaneeds updating and better cleaning. The pot was missing in the room coffeemaker. The alarm clock did not work. The odor in the room went out to the the store for a air freshner. Had baby roaches had to check our luggage when we left. The staff wasn t really friendly. I think she is not able to smile which is really unusual for americans. Even though I asked twice that the wifi isnt working nothing changed. So for my whole stay there was no internet access! Just in themorning before I was leaving in the lobby. room was a little rundown and we saw a couple of roches. My daughter stayed at the hotel alone (19yo) and she declared it " ok. A little seedy". She was uncomfortable there without family. The room next to up had a group of balck or jamaicans carrying on loud. I finally got out of bed and went to the front desk because the house phone didn't work and complained. This was the worst experience we ever had in a hotel. Bathroom. When trying to use phone didn't work and when needed sheets had to walk to office twice and still they did not show up until 1150 pm. Rooms cleaned with Javes which gave wife headeache we left for abvi next door. Howard Johnson is very run down. A dump basically. Tv did not work. Mirrors in bathroom were peeling off silver paint. Airconditioner was noisey. Could hear conversation and foot steps from room above. the place is falling apart, headboard fell off wall, the shower knobs leaked so much we couldn't shower. Room smelled weird, bed very hard, sheets stained, water pressure horrible, Mexican restaurant played loud obnoxious music until 3:30am!!. Breakfast included but poor selection and not enough tables or chairs to sit down. Wifi included but didn't work. We left a day early because of this. Front desk staff not helpful. People making a noise outside the room. Rooms were dirty, they left doors opened after cleaning, no toilet paper available not even when we asked in the front desk. Pool was dirty. Hairs on towel. Weird crowd, it smelled like marihuana. Everthing. The rugs were dirty and there was a hole in the bathroom wall. The motel badly needs an update. There was a dirty towel on the back of the bathroom door. The beds didn't look freshly made. No coffee machine,. everything!!!!!!!. This motel is horrible in every aspect. Bed bugs. Holes in wall. Smelled. Lights and phone did not work. Furniture dirty. Walls and doors needed painted. Tried to get money back for second but would not but chamnged rooms. That one was just as bad. By far the worst motel I stayed at. A true dump. Looks like one of those motels that are rented by the hour. Howard Johnson should be ashamed to associate it's name with this place. Definitely not worth the $100, more like a $25 per night motel. Old, dirty and decrepid are adjectives I would use to describe this motel. Bed bugs ,carpet had mold and wet would never ever stay there again. This hotel is like taking a trip back to the 60s old and dingy and dirty. Staff was rude and I certainly would not recommend this hotel even in a pinch.
