The Kings House Hotel is committed to becoming a certified "green" property by trying to be sustainable and environmentally friendly in all that is done there. The hotel is furnished with a variety of amenities that are helping to achieve this goal.
Some recent improvements include; reduction of water temperature in order to limit gas consumption, recycled toilet paper, napkins and plates, as well as in-room recycling containers for all guests. All lights on the property have also been replaced with energy-efficient light bulbs, which reduce electricity usage. The environment is very important to the Kings House, and a number of future "green" projects are planned.
