This is a great location for getting around Chicago downtown. Hotel has efficient and friendly staff; fantastic upper floors restored interior and history of the building is exceptionally interesting. Rooms are clean and comfortable with decent views if you are facing due east. Great bar and bistro on the ground floor. I will definitely visit again.

There is nothing to dislike about Burnham Hotel.

Couldn't have asked for a better location. Loved that they had bikes you could get for free. And the free coffee/tea in the morning and wine hour in the evenings. Worth every penny! We were here marathon weekend and they had an awesome breakfast for all the runners. They put it out early for us. Loved everything about this hotel!

We stayed in Burnham hotel from 5th to 8th of October, 2013. I enjoyed the whole experience of living here in the heart of Chicago Loop. The hotel has a perfect location close to malls (in front of Macy's), design shops (Nordstorm, DSW, Old Navy and etc.) and grocery stores (Target is the biggest one). It is convenient to visit local attractions within walking distance (Millennium and Grand park, Willis tower, Union Station..). It takes 40 minutes to get straight from the O'Hara airport to Washington station (Blue line). Especially we love wine hour in our hotel. Every day we tasted different wines from 5 to 6 pm and got a free access to fitness. I would definitely stay one more time there.

The location is superb, the rooms and the staff excellent. liked the historic spirit mixed with modern comfort.

The breakfast was terribly overpriced, I paid 40$! On top of it the service was slow. This slightly spoiled the otherwise perfect impression during my stay.

Love the old history of the hotel, and my favorite place to stay every year in Chicago

The king size bed in my room made it too tight. Not good for a couple just a business man. They need a curve shower curtain rod for the bathtub. Also, we had no where to put two bags in the room.

The room, especially the bed was very comfortable. All the staff were helpful and very accommodating. The cleanliness was a 10. It's in an ideal location for city transport and all the tourist spots. I had an excellent stay it made my stay in the city a better one and I will certainly use Kimpton hotels in future.

I liked everything there is nothing I didn't like.

The building, the position, reception staff were helpful and friendly.

room 1201 had a good view but was very small and a bit shabby. a rather smug attitude but we have stayed in far better hotels. very expensive for what one gets even with a free glass of wine!
