  Excellent service from all staff, who were always smiling and helpful (with the exception of the person who seemed to be the Front Office manager). Obviously, renovations have been started sin - The staff were truly excellent. Facilities not bad, location fair for the area. For the price I definitely recommend this hotel - it's a bargain. I have stayed at a few of the other hotels in Umm Al Quwain and some cost twice as much for a worse experience. If on a budget, save your money and stay here, with the expectation that it is simply a superior 2-star.
