all reviews » Very friendly staff, great breakfast, excellent value for money. The rooms were spotless clean and comfy beds, pillows etc. All bathroom amenities were available. The breakfast has heaps of variety, it was fresh and yummy! The hotel is not huge to get lost in, it is a mid size hotel with lots of warmth. The location was perfect, close to the new city and the old. Professionality in all aspects. Wel trained staff. Good quality controll. I think this hotel desrves to be considered as a five star Hotel.The staff was exceptionally welcoming and helpful. breakfast menu was rich and delicious. Rooms were comfortable. Location, service, price/quality, fitness room, replaced TV w/o even a complaint, free upgrade of room. The genuine friendly smile from reception, porters, cleaners, spa etc. In fact I felt welcomed. Kind staff, clean and big rooms, average breakfast. The hotel is located near the old town and airport in Dubai with good local restaurants, hotels and shops. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were helpful. There is no bar or nightclub so its relatively quiet though there is some construction work going on across the road. Staff was friendly and booking fast. First we got room with no bouble bed but even one with double bed was found quite quickly - even bigger and better! Room was also tidy. If you wish to get a real city tour take the open-top big bus city tour. Location of the hotel is good but there are better hotels around. This hotel is not on Al Rigga st. as listed, it is on a less busy quiet street that is parallel to Rigga. Also there is a huge construction going on just opposite the hotel which was noisy during the day.Current construction which didn't affect my sleep, but made the way to get to the hotel a little hard. None. I was pleasantly surprised and promised to always stay at the hotel at any opportunity.The hotel taxi is expensive so use a local metered taxi to get around. No wifi!. Colouring of the room waqs dark and done with poor taste. Probably been like that for a long time. Breakfast was not so special, at least not for european taste.Variable taxi prices booked through the hotel perhaps should always be a registered Taxi with a meter,although all Taxis are cheap but we got charged double the prices on cars with no Taxi sign or meter. No proper business center. i just wonder why they dont allow visitor inside the room, what happen to me is I have a friend an old friend and they dont allow am disappointent i ask them to give extra bed what they do nothing. That it was so hard to get a taxi during the weekday.the location of hotel is very good, only finding a taxi is the most important problem for this hotel. The buffet breakfast was not too good.My room had a broken ac and it took the hotel 5 hourse to change theroom. I traveled 18hrs, and when I arrived at the hotel the room wasn't ready, so I had to wait 5 more hrs and without any compensation. This was due to an error of a new employee at the reception desk.the price littel high the the other it must decrease by 25% at lest. I suffered during staying in this hotel for 2 days from access door card which is not able to open room door several times due to system !!!. the restorent food. unhelpful reception service. Restauant was very average and no bar facility. Yes, I think it is a waste of time to have a hotel provided taxi, this was an extremely expensive service as the driver was more interested in ripping people off with the prices he was charging. I have lived and worked in the UAE previously and I know for a fact that it does not cost 60DHS to go to Jumeriah Beach, the cost in a metered taxi is no more then 37DHS.The size of the room was very small. RM# 1124 ---- Hard to get a taxi. few english channel, few selection of food in the menu. Long time for check in and check out. There were no tea/coffee facilities in the room and no bar.Construction around the hotel. The hoteltaxi is more expensive than a normal one. Don't use the free tourist bus from Deire City Centre, it is awful. Speedy check-in and checkout. There was a noise in my room which they should look at so other guests won't be disturbed by it. Also, I was charged for internet use which ironically I don't have a laptop with me. But they're able to manage the situation and didn't charge me in the end.Hotel restaurants and dinning room was not good. yes they made block to my visa and they were unable to take the money from the same visa.
