  Staff were very friendly and helpful. I was visiting my girlfriend and they were able to arrange a bouquet of flowers for me. Also the airport taxi service (15 Euro) is excellent and they arranged taxis for me when needed.   This is my second stay at the Aurora (first was August 2012). Still great value, very nice staff, excellent breakfast, and nice rooms. As a result of Ukrainian policy I think public area smoking has decreased and thus the lobby is not quite as filled with the stench of cigarette smoke so that is good.   The hotel staff were fantastic. The hotel is very nice hotel. It is close to a beautiful park to take a night walk to. The continential breakfast is not bad. There are several dishes to choose from. The food was very good. All of the staff were very attentive to everything. They were very polite. Many of them spoke English very well. I plan to bo... what people say » ok this hotel again on my next trip to Ukraine. There are great restraunts within a 5-10 minute walk. The food at the resteraunts was delicious. Many - I was well impressed with location (very central but quiet) of this hotel. Also, staff was very polite and helpful with bar open 24 hours which was helpful with Client meeting. The standards of this hotel about 4-star European hotel chain (Marriot, Hilton|). I will definitely recommend this hotel for someone to stay on short business trip.

  I cannot say enough good things about my stay at Gostiny Dvor hotel! The staff were very friendly. Front desk girls were so helpful, spoke excellent english and always went out of their way to accommodate any request I had. All servers spoke enough English that I never had a problem and they were very knowledgable and friendly. The hotel is located ver - All staff at the hotel and the Shato Restaurant attached to it. Are kind,cheerful,and attentive to all guests who come by. The accomodation is relaxing and perfect for vacation or business travelers. I`ve stayed there twicw now. For 12 days in April 2012 and just returned from a 14 day April 13-27th,2013 vacation to Kharkov,Ukraine once again.

They went out of the way to fullfill your eve - Svetlana who works at reception desk was very helpful and friendly. Hotel was wonderful but even if there is something wrong you should see Svetlana's smile and forget all faults :)) I also liked the boy who brought my breakfast to my room, he is very nice guy and decent..   The hotel seemed like new. Rooms were large Western style with nice bathrooms and very clean. We traveled to Kiev, Kharkov, and Odessa and this was the best accommodations that we had the entire trip. The cost was reasonable and compared to the other places, a very good value. It was great - The service and attitude of staff was excellent. Breakfast, for me, was a particular high point being a British style buffet.
