Owners Carl and Sharon were very friendly and welcoming. Property was exceptionally clean and room was spacious. Breakfast was great, always freshly cooked, with multiple choices available. We, and especially our 4 year old grandaughter, were well looked after. Location was close to the seafront, and an easy walk to the shops and train station. A very enjoyable stay.If you are looking for a spotlessly clean hotel this is the one to go for - beautiful rooms you can see the owners have taken pride in their hotel the breakfast was lovely and cooked freshly - a lovely walk to the harbour walking through the abbey and gardens highly recommend - and will definitely be returning

Both Sharon and Carl the owners were friendly and helpful . The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices to suit everyone, this hotel is by far the cleanest that we have stayed in, and would not hesitate to anyone! We will be re visiting . Thank you both for making our stay so enjoyable.
This hotel was spotlessly clean and the owners were very helpful. The hotel was a five minute walk to the station and about 7 minutes walk into town. It was very convenient. Breakfast also was very good. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

The couple who ran Kelvin house are lovely people, spotless clean throughout, excellent breakfast, good location and we were made to feel at home. we would have no hesitation in recommending this place and we will visit again soon. 10/10.
