The food was very good indeed. The chef really impressed by coming up with a couple of vegan choices for each of the three dinners we ate at the hotel - and the food was so good we decided not to look for anywhere else to eat our evening meals!! The accommodation was very clean and comfortable, and the service, from the management down was friendly, welcoming, responsive and efficient. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and are recommending it warmly to all our friends!.

Close to good scenic routes through Rest and be Thankful glen, to pretty areas of Loch Fyne and accessible to Inveraray, Benmore gardens Dunoon, Bute and Oban ferries. The service, it was excellent. Also the food and the restaurant. We had a fantastic gourmet dinner with some really fine wines! The owner is at the reception which is very good! Accommodation is lovely. I love the quietness of the area. Would definitely like to go back. Owners and staff very friendly, helpfull. breakfast,dinner very good, wide range of choice. Location on the side of loch excellent. Bedroom clean and tidy with a good view of loch. Thank you to Archie and Gill, staff for a wonderfull stay. Will certainly be back again. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Better road sign saying Strachur as well as Dunoon when returning from Inveraray. Slight musty smell in the room. But it was not putting off. Can not find anything to dislike. Nothing. The background music in the bar could do with rotation from the continuous one artist drone. Only one chair in the double room. Loved everything. The weather !. Can't think of anything.Everything seemed perfect for us!. There is no part of the experience that was not of the first order. Breakfast room very quiet in the mornings. Some low volume background music would have been nice. A bit expensive but otherwise very enjoyable stay. The bedding. Leaving. I thought the price per night for my dogs was very high considering there was no extra cleaning involved. Having to lug our cases up to the second floor!. Champagne opened in the kitchen, not at the table. Room was really cold. Really Cold!. It was a little impersonal and had no newspapers or any other reading matter though there was a large lounge. nothing. Too far away from Inveraray town centre to advertise its part of there - on your website it states the hotel was only 3.8 miles away when actually it is 20 miles!. Even though the inn was fully booked we had to have dinner in the public bar area when there was a lovely dining room. The meal was only fair. The TV in our room was not picking up a signal. Rather tired décor, less than satisfactory bed, too small and not adequately supportive mattress and wee overpriced. Limited parking. Logging trucks at 4:30pm in the morning.
