The position of the hotel is idyllic situated on a bend of the Thames. We opted for a less expensive roadside room at 199£ it was small but had everything we needed, and was well decorated. It was well insulated so the road was not audible. We had an excellent dinner served by very attentive staff who were able to match our meal with two superb wines. We will definitely return. Location perfect , good food and drinks onsite . Some rooms bigger than others we had to swap as the initial room was tiny. Comfy beds nice deco and bathrooms.

The bed was a bit on the hard side. Well it is pricey... but it's the best hotel in Richmond with the best view and location. Had difficulties getting hot water running in room. However someone came up and sorted it in minutes. The area around the toilet is a bit tight & I am quite small. Room a bit small and dark. Found it difficult to find things as lighting couldn't be adjusted much. Expensive breakfast. Nothing. Lack of elevator-we were on top floor. Tv did not function. Asked for £20credit but no reply yet. Staff were generally very friendly and helpful but at times things were a little chaotic and a few little things were not well done. Just a few faults .... Cobwebs on the ceiling and there was chewing gum behide one on the side tables ....... Parking and cost. Car park Reception Climb to attic room Small bathroom. Nothing. Upstairs noise. Pricey. Some lights in the room didn't work. Ironing board was broken (new one never turned up after we asked for one). No breakfast included for £145 No onsite parking Very hard bed No hairdryer in room. The staff, they seem confused with the car parking, and made us feel uneasy about leaving my car even though we paid for parking, very difficult to communicate with.
