What people say
Easy to find, quiet, traditional looking but modern. Wifi was free, car parking free. Breakfast was included. These were not included in places located in the centre of Birmingham. The cost was half that advertised for a rival on the cadburys world website.
The staff at both the hotel and restaurant were excellent. The waitress that served myself and family was rushed off her feet but still had time for anything we requested. It was delivered or served promoptly. all reviews »
Inclusive breakfast and WiFi; at the price this is very competitive and a clear delimiter for Marstons in that area. The rooms are comparable with Premier Inn for about 10-15% less in the location I stayed. Good viable alternative and I would choose to stay again.
we found the hotel comfortable and clean there was even biscuits with the tea and coffee and bottled water the food at the pub was very good and value for money excellent all in all a very enjoyable stay and we are planning to go back soon.
Newley refurbished rooms with free wifi. Bottled water is a nice idea as Redditch water isnot the best tasting water. Soap dispensers were good. Rooms were very comfortable. Nice to be able to have breakfast Receptionist was very pleasant.
This is second time I've stayed, and for the money the hotel is great, in a lovely setting with a nice pub next door. If you are staying in Redditch I don't think this hotel, for value, can be beaten.
The room was clean and comfortable, the bed for ourselves was very
comfy, even the bed for our daughter was great. That doesn't often
happen. The pub attached was good quality with friendly service.
The comfortable room - warm, clean and excellent refreshment tray. The
bed was extremely confortable. The breakfast was excellent and a nice
surprise as we have never had this when staying before!.
Everything - within it's price range it is first class. I'd like to know the make / spec of their mattresses they were the best I've experienced in any hotel - I'd buy one for home.
The staff were very helpful. restaurant menu and prices were what we were after. Outside grounds were fab in winter so would love to see them in summer. Would definitely return.
What's not to like at £26/per person B&B? Rooms were great
and breakfast good. We also ate in the pub and which was great value 2
for 1 pub grub plus 20% residents discount.
Easy to find , evening meal in next door restaurant was good value .breakfast included which was great and cooked to order. Bed very comfy. Plenty of parking, nice views .
Staff friendly even remember me from previous visits. Room redecorated with better quality bedding, soap, hot chocolate & biscuits and a great breakfast.
Comfy, Quiet and Clean room. Excellent value food in the pub (meal for 3 with drinks came to £21!!!). Friendly, helpful staff. Best value stay anywhere!.
Friendly staff
Spotlessly clean and warm room
Nice quiet rooms
Good size breakfast but plates a little small to eat from
Reasonably priced meals in bar.
Comfortable, clean and warm room
cosy bed and lovely pillows
perfect stopover for my business trip, being just off the M42
Excellent cooked breakfast!.
Rooms well equipped, bed comfy, food excellent and the outside seating area to the pub was beautiful with the lights and well spaced out for eating.
very clean, comfortable, warm and quiet, handy for a nightcap in the adjoining inn. Good breakfast included in price. Will definitely stay again.
The very helpful staff when we found the room cold we were given a heater and next day the room was changed.we will stay with here again.
Like the settin and the fact there was a pub a pub right next door. Great value for money returning again at new year with friends.
Comfortable bed in decent sized room.
Good pub attached with selection of decent beers, good menu and good breakfast.
clean tidy loads of hot water good shower food was good very good staff first time we have stayed in a marstons inn.
the food at the pub was exceptional value and Michaela in the bar was brilliant at dealing with our problem.
Spottlesly clean, good shower, cheap, great food at (and real ales) at the adjacent pub, great breakfast.
Easy acces, for commuting, value for money. The staff were very friendly. Good selection of real ales.

The room
The restaurant.
Pub-grub and breakfast.
Clean comfrey.
everything.
quiet and comfortable.
Rooms good.
Get little location near to Cadburys World and a lovely evening meal.
Dirty. Not a good location . Fairly decent breakfast but the rooms are dated and the walls need a good wash .
1 1/2 - 2 star at best.
There wasn't anything I didn't like. Had never thought of marsons as a hotel. Only the brewery. Am glad to hear that there is a marsons hotel going to be built in my home town of Southend on sea.
TV in the room was ancient and showed very few channels. Ordinary Freeview beats it by a mile. Such a small problem to solve to make this place beat the local Premier Inn at Bordesley hands down.
would be nice to have the option of continental breakfast. asked for quiet room away from stairway but was given a room right by it so could hear door banging late night 6am on wards. there was no disbled parking bays.Maid knocked door at 10.45 to see if we were departing. departure time is 11am not 10.45am.
The pub got quite busy in the evenings and if arriving back late it took
a while to get seated, and served at the bar. It would be worth booking
tables if eating with little ones or at a later time.
We have no complaints at all and look forward to visiting relatives and
friends in the area again when we can book at Meadow Farm once more!.
Nothing - no complaints at all.
nothing in particular.
Nothing.
Pub was busy but that is only because it was very good / popular! Make sure you book a table.
There was nothing negative about my visit.
'Help yourself' milk and orange juice ran out and wasn't replaced until requested.
Limited tv service. Most places offer Freeview. Not sure how they get Look East local tv in the heart of the West Midlands.
nothing.
we had to wait 3 hours to get into our room as it was not ready at 3pm when arrived to check in.
The pub meal could be better but the 2 for 1 plus a 20% discout for residents made it good value.
nothing.
We have no negative comments.
Slow service on check-in at 10.00pm at night ... should have been a lot slicker.
That when I needed some help in the morning no one on reception to talk to or ask.
No iron or board in room.
Toilet seat underneath and bowl had dirty marks on.
no mirror within distance of the hair dryer.
I was lucky to be on the end of an offer I believe with a price of £45. I think it should stay this price because it is not as good as the Premier Inn up the road as far as as value for money if it goes higher. If it does I shall be back to Premier Inn which is a pity because I like the atmosphere of the Meadow - it is cosier!.
could have had better signage for entry to pub. There were no lights at night to illuminate path at back of pub, and no signs in morning to advise using rear entrance.
Breackfast.
pub food was very reasonable but very limited choice.
Down for breakfast at 7.05 had to look for staff to get a cup of tea. Waitress came to take my breakfast order at 7.30 - too late for me. totally disorganised.
Unfortunately there was only 1 member of staff avaiable and she was rushed off her feet with enquires
When we arrived only the double bed was made and bit the Pull out beds for my daughter, due to the sole member if staff being busy there was a delay on recifing this so in the end I requested the additional bed and made the beds up myself.
The electric entrance doors didn't work and weren't rectified whilst we stayed.
