we had a room with a sea view, it was clean and well appointed. Good location for the centre of Newquay but far enough away not to be disturbed by revellers. Very Friendly owners. Nice, hardworking, professional people, beautiful view on the sea, Thankyou St. George's for very enjoyable stay!. very friendly staff, rooms cleaned daily, lovely seaview, but by busy road.View, Access to newquay centre. close to town centre and beach. It was so close to the town centre. Excellent location for city centre. views from hotel room. Breakfast timing could have been earlier, although this was not a big issue at all.breakfast was substantial with friendly service. In need of decoration and modernisation to be ideal but otherwise clean and a good breakfast. not all rooms are en suite, shared shower broke down on first day of our stay, had to use shared bathroom. shower to small. You have to check out at 10.00am which was way too early if your young and like your late nights. attitude of staff especially male was quite aggressive.

Information about the area
Newquay is very central to other places of interest, such as Looe, Polperro, St Ives and Lands End, which are all less than an hour’s drive away. If you like horse-riding, there are many stables locally for beach, river and country riding. Golfers also have many good courses to choose from. Newquay also offers good surfing all year round with a concentration of breaks which work on different tides.
If you prefer to leave the car at home or don't drive: no problem. Newquay has its own train station and a multitude of coach and bus tours covering the whole county and large parts of Devon.
