They gave us two bedrooms as we were two males travelling together. only one bedroom was booked and paid for. I thought they would have twin beds. so got extra small bedroom instead. Checkin was quick and very friendly and efficient although we were later than 6pm. I called ahead to advise we would be late. This was not a problem for them. Parking was free and on same level as our apartment, so luggage was easy to deal with. supermarket very close .also pub and takeaway nearby. The Pizza across.

The apartment had a comfortable bedroom, fairly good bathroom, a good living room and well appointed kitchen, although we did not do much cooking during our stay. The location is quite central - it take 10 minutes of very pleasant walk along the riverfront to reach the Town Centre and the Peace Bridge. The place is very secure. Londonderry itself is quite an attractive town with a historic walled city. The people are very friendly, and we hadn't seen an. We where very pleased with the apartment, we stayed for the graduation of our son, it was spotless, very comfortable, we had a partial view of the River Foyle, very comfortable, the staff were very nice and have no complaints apart from road noise, but that is not a big problem - one can overcome that - get ear plugs!!! Staff were very friendly and would thoroughly recommend as a very lovely place to stay. The position of the accomodation was excellent with a fabulous view over the river Foyle. The staff extremelly helpful and couldn't do enough to help us.. The safe parking in the multi-storey carpark gave great peace of mind. The standard of accomodation was excellent, everything you needed including free wi-fi connection and comfy chairs to sit in.....wouldn't stay anywhere else next time I'm in Derry. Very close to the city centre. We were upgraded to a 2 bed apartment from our 1 bed, which was bigger. We arrived late and the guy on reception was very understanding, despite having to wait around for us to come. Also, free parking and wifi was great! We would stay here again if coming back to Derry again. Good value self catering apartment. Location is spot on only 10/15 minutes walk to the centre. Parking is in next door car park and there is a connection between all apartments directly to the multi story so u don't have to go outside to get to the car. Really useful. I really liked the fact that the place made you feel at home straight away. One sit on the sofa and you were immediately relaxed. And my better half was more than impressed with the walk-in wardrobe. Would definately recommend staying here to friends and family. I liked the facilities and it was excellent value for money. Was in a good location and was comfortable for an overnight or weekend stay. Could come and go as you please and there was a telephone for the local taxi company which was handy. The rancid cooking smells of another apartments cooking, it was extreamly nausiating when you got out of the lift and in the hallway, it also got into your apartment when you opened the door. they should have air conditioning to stop this. very unpleasent. The hotel is on Strand Road, an extremely busy thoroughfare with constant traffic. It was noisy at night, very noisy on Saturday night, mainly from the Night Club opposite. Although it was a hot night there was no way we could leave the windiws open and sleep. It is possible the Saturday night we stayed there was particularly noisy because of the Triathlon that took place earlier in the day. As I said road noise - but not really a major problem. Just a few tiny inconveniences like light bulbs blown and no dish cloth provided. 2 cars sat outside the apartment one evening revving their engines and playing music. A bit annoying when you are trying to sleep. Nothing the aparthotel could have done about this though. Fronting onto a busy fast moving road. A bit of traffic noise if at the front but otherwise excellent. No staff were available to check-in or to check-out. It was quite noisy outside. It was extremely warm and was hard to get a breeze going even with windows open. I would ask for a riverside apartment next time as the traffic noise on the street was very loud and constant. Nothing to do/see for 5-10 min walk of city proper, but its a nice stroll down the river at least :-). Traffic noise and the noise coming from The Carrig Bar until very, very late. Nothing everything was first class!. My balcony was a little small, although with the Irish weather this wasn't really a problem. Other balconys in the apartotel were of a suitable size. The water pressure was atrocious - there was no hope of a bath, even showers were disappointing. The only down is that it is opposite a bar/night club, so if you don't want to hear youngsters getting drunk, swearing and acting like ... you know, then it might not be the place for you. No option to buy toiletries for short stay when I forgot to bring my own. Good selling point.. Would have liked more brochures or information guides in the room. No complaints, exceeded expectations. The noise of the cars never stopped all night but it wasn't a big issue wouldn't stop me going back. Building didn't look great from the outside. Our room was at the front and lots of traffic all night, when i am going back i would like a room to the rear. The bedroom and hallway/bathroom were very stuffy, even with the window open in the bedroom at night. The apartment would benefit from an extractor fan in the bathroom and better ventilation, particularly aircon, or at the very least doorstops to open the doors with so that air can circulate. Poor shower, soft bed. Also, on our second night, there was a lot of noise from the nightclub across the street. And in the morning the fire alarm scared the hell out of me. Could do with a refurbishment; furniture and wooden floors showing wear. I couldn't fault anything. The bars/nightclubs opposite the apartments make for pretty noisy bedfellows and that’s even with triple glazed windows. Whilst the apartments offer good value for money, some of the fixtures and fittings could do with refreshing, light bulbs changed, the addition of soap and washing up liquid would be welcome inclusions and instructions for the operating the tv wouldn’t go amiss! This is good solid, spacious, budget location, close to the city centre but it is not 4*!. The hobs didn't heat up very well. Only niggle was that the cleaning had not been done properly before we arrived and the heating did not work very well and it was a cold weekend. smell in hall and lift, garbage shute or sewer gas? stale apartment possibly from smoking or after effects of water damage. Could have been aired for our arrival. Patio had cigarette buts, grass and moss which was more of an issue because we were there on a very good spell of weather. The outside noise levels at night time. It was very noisy both inside & outside of the apartments until the early hours of the morning. no wifi in apartment was disappointing, and costly for me. Dodgy paintings in the bedroom!. bit of a delay when we arrived at 5.20pm waiting for someone to open up. nothing. Can be a little noisy but would still stay there again.
