We were greeted at the door by (Monika, I think that was the lady's name), she was helpful and friendly. We were going to the O2 for a concert and she advised us of the bus we needed, the cost involved and the fact that the service ran 24 hours a day. We travelled into London during the second day and she confirmed that we could leave our car at the hotel at no expense, saving us a small fortune in parking expenses. Nothing was too much trouble, she was friendly, informative and couldn't of .

Also we arrived early and leela kindly let us into our room.The owners young son was very friendly and helpful. We will return to this hotel. Fan in room as in middle of heatwave very useful. and parking was a massive bonus! 5 minutes walk to overground into charing cross and 10 minute taxi ride to Cutty Sark for river bus excellent location. Quietness (both environment and hotel). Comfortable beds. We appriciated the fact that hotel personnel were not fussing around us and we could sleep as long as we wanted (in several hotels I have been woken by the cleaning staff walking along the corridors at around 5 am). Service was efficient and straightforward, proprietor was very friendly and made the hotel a simple pleasure. Small and house-converted, as are most hotels this far into expensive London. It was close to the venue with a good bus service to the venue.the manager was very welcoming and informative. good location outside of London and pleasant walk through park into Greenwich. The bed was amazing! The home made bread was a nice touch!. Location was good, room was functional and clean. staff were good. I really can't think of anything. The woman at the front desk was nice, though she wasn't there very often at all. Location in greenwich and near blackheath village and O2 Arena and Lndon. Nothing. Everything was great, no problems at all. We were asked about breakfast night before also if a couple of extra pound added to room rate and continental breakfast was included it would have been more than perfect. Price of breakfast. the room was "not deluxe" but it was ok. Some maintanance work should be done (e.g. shower hose). None really, a lot better than many of the hotels around if you've got a reasonable mind and aren't expecting the Ritz Carlton for the money. London accomodation's expensive. Although it was clean and tidy it was very basic. it was alright for a night but wouldn't want to use it for a longer break. Bathroom very compact and shower akward to work but to be fair the owner did fix immediately when we mentioned it. She said the continental breakfast was free then changed her mind and told us we has a £14 bill to pay! Chipped paint room 5. Lots of little spiders, she came in our room when we left as we left a trap to see if she would. décor needs updating, and to far from tubes. This place was a huge rip off. Very misleading in its advertising. It looked like something quaint and beautiful on the website and was advertised as such. It also was supposedly close to London City Airport and interesting things to do in the city. It wasn't close to either, but was instead a little crap hole in the suburbs, a long, long way from anything interesting. Cleanliness is not adequate and the hotel needs an overhaul (e.g. dirty carpet, beds were causing back-pain, etc...). The first thing was that the room was tatty. The bed clothes looked as though they had been used for years. The central heating wasn't working. The wash basin took several minutes to empty and nothing appeared to be done after we reported it. Didn't bother to have breakfast and found a decent café in the high street. I definitely will not be staying here again. The staff were very unsympathetic to my husbands reasons that we could not use the hotel (his father had died) and wouldn't offer a refund even though we gave almost two weeks notice. The only way they would refund is if we provided proof of death and funeral costs which I refuse to provide out of principal. Nobody was there nor would answer phone. Dirty and hot. Bath was apparently for ornamental purposes and didn't need to work. We left after 3 hours and literally 70 unanswered calls. Sad and let down on anniversary. Owner said take me to court .
