An absolute luxury stay and example of impeccable design and service. we were treated so well from start to end of our stay by all the staff. i wish i could have stayed longer but it was for my birthday treat so just one night. i also had afternoon tea which was an amazing experience and one i would wholeheartedly recommend!. The hotel is historic and luxurious with the most attentive staff I have ever come across. The bedrooms are gorgeous and spacious. The foyer and reading room has excellent menus for dining and the afternoon tea must not be missed. There is a small but cosy Bar with incredibly friendly and helpful staff.

The staff was terrific, especially we enjoyed the young waiter in the restaurant who served us breakfast and lunch. We'll be back and will recommend Claridges to others. The breakfast was outstanding and even though we had it in our room it was still piping hot. Cannot fault it in any way. The staff are what make Claridges the top-notch hotel it is. The location, the rooms, the great bar, the historical aspects - all help but the friendly, helpful, very professional staff are what makes Claridges GREAT. This is our "go-to" hotel for trips to London. I really liked that the hotel is centrally located,just a lane away from the shopping district,The management is very professional and friendly,The concierge Desk is the best and very helpful....And staying at the hotel was a wonderful experience!!!!!!!!!!!. 1) Claridge's gave me a special room (designed with Diane von Furstenberg) instead of "regular" room I booked for - with the same price, terms, etc. It was a pleasant surprise 2) Staff is very tactful and professional. Some of the rooms are getting due for renovations. While our room was still lovely this time, we have noticed that some rooms look more recently attended to. I loved everything about the Hotel,No complaints whatsoever. Nothing. The see through glass doors of the bathroom.Can get uncomfortable at times. There were a couple of visible extension cables on either side of the bed. Otherwise the room was excellent. Errors on the bill. Charged for additional bottle of Champagne in the room and additional gin and tonic in the bar. Very confusing and not something I would have expected from this hotel. Plus point - this was rectified when raised. It cost £11 to get some milk delivered to the room for tea and coffee making facilities previously booked for the room. The musty smell in the room, which I didn't mention to the hotel, but I wish I had!. Nothing- it was great!. There is nothing we didn't like,. Nothing not to like. !. Absolutely nothing !!. Nothing. Room better than last time but had to remind staff of our last stay when room was appauling. Room comfortable but for what we were paying it needed redecorating it was tired dirty carpet , curtains lighting poor for reading. Nothing. With letsbookhotel.com were promised a room overlooking quiet inner courtyard, whereas we're given a room overlooking a busy street with nearby building site! The doormen were often busy talking to each other and did not acknowledge us!. I had to leave early for a 9.30 am start for work. Would have loved to stay longer and try the spa. ?????. Radiator fitting in bathroom was broken rusty and not working. Permanently turned on so room was far too hot without being able to adjust it. Left broken fitting on floor by radiator but when room had been serviced during the day the broken fitting had just been placed on top of the pipe again so to look okay, even though we knew it was broken. If it fell off again someone could easily trip / fall and hurt themselves. Nothing. the rooms furniture is old and the bathrooms. the fact that when we arrived no booking had come through letsbookhotel.com It took a while to find us a room. The hotel is very old, the standard of the hotel is going down comparing to the hotels in its category. Our rooms where not ready when we arravied at 3 p.m you had to ask two to three times to get things done. Room was cold. Radiators luke warm. Afternoon Tea choice of food dissapointing. Nothing. Nothing. My room was not ready on arrival at 4.30 pm .not something i'd of expected at £450 per night.
