Loved the spaciousness of the apartment (2 bed/2 bathroom), the well fitted kitchen (fridge, freezer, dishwasher & washing machine), the closeness to West India Quay and Canary Wharf for top quality restaurants, shops & the River Cruise station. Only 5 minutes walk from Westferry DLR station, about 25 minutes from St Pancras in total. Walk the Thames Path to Tower Bridge - about an hour but 3 historic pubs on the route. Cruise up river on the Thames Clipper to any City dock. Chill out i.
all reviews » Excellent, quality accommodation - clean and quiet with good transport links (DLR and river ferry) and local shopping / pubs / eating out. The views from the apartment (9th floor) are spectacular which provided an added bonus! Tip for taxi users - we used a local cab company (Carrot Cars) to go from the apartment to Euston station at a very reasonable rate (£21) that was quoted on booking and didn't change despite long delays due to traffic congestion - and it was nearly 30% cheaper than the b. very spacious and comfortable apartment behind the four seasons hotel in canary wharf, near gaucho and royal china restaurants. good location in terms of safety and connections to the rest of london. very clean and modern, dishwasher and washing machine provided (dont think washing machine was stated on the website) along with a packet of detergent each for both. also a small box of goodies on the dining table when we arrived - not fancy stuff but a nice gesture nonetheless!. Well-located and easy to access. A block away from supermarkets and shopping centres. Easy to access public transport and tourist sites. Staff were friendly and attentive. Apartment was very well set-up and comfortable. It was great being self-sufficient with a full kitchen and washing machine. A safe area where we felt very comfortable. Definitely London is not an inexpensive city and the apartment was a little on the expensive side. Hard to find for drivers. Had to pay for wi-fi. the bed was a Queen size - would have preferred a bigger bed, but it was comfortable. This is Canary Wharf, reclaimed dockland, and they're trying to make it interesting. It's not interesting the way that the Centre of London is, but it's much less expensive. A minor issue with the distance to Canary Wharf tube station which provides good connection to the city. It takes about 10min fast walking. Westferry station is closer but not as well connected. Only criticism is wifi charges at £12 per day, which seems steep considering it's offered for free in many other places. It is a bit far from Heathrow airport and London down town. Nearly impossible to point out any negatives, but here goes. The bathroom needed a couple wall hooks. That's it. There was nothing we didn't like. Anything we wrote in this box would be purely for the sake of writing something! Not necessary - all very good. The door stopper of every room can't work。. Tricky to find Not that convenient for Central London. Have to pay for WiFi! What year is it? WiFi was not fast and expensive. Internet acces very expensive. I dont like the house keeping, because I staied 5 nights and they didn't do any house keeping during my stay. It should be done at least once every three days. Although my daughters (26 & 24) had my credit card and driving licence they were not allowed into the apartment until I arrived some 20 minutes later. There was no free wifi. Check-in was a bit slow, as only one person and the process seems to be a bit cumbersome, but nothing outrageous. Sound of air conditioning. Paying for carpark and Wi-Fi. One screw sticking up from the gripper rod under the door where my daughter cut her toe !. To find the car is a bit of a mission as is finding the entrance to the hotel as sav nav will take you on the lower level of the roundabout once there the desk staff are less than help full. I would suggest that the parking is first with a code then in the lift to book in. Building is rather hard to find. Not handy to tourist attractions - but fine if you are familiar with the DLR, underground and buses and are not in a hurry. rules and regulations around booking in are a little officious!. Early check out. Basic utilities, functional but cheap. Cigarette butts of a previous guest not removed from balcony by cleaning staff. Can't think of anything!. Check-out time at 10:00, a bit too early; No Broadband Internet access included. - absence of free wi-fi. All good. Nothing.
