Everything was nice, the staff were friendly. Easy of location to airport. handyness. it is clean and no noise. it was quiet at night. Friendly Staff. It was a very comfortable room - and I enjoyed the coffee at breakfast!. Breakfast food, Size of room, Location. Good size rooms and bathroom, clean. No fuss - good links to city centre. The room was a bit too hot, as the morning after we couldn't open thewindow again. Maid wanted us to check out really early, we were not told any check-out time. The hotel was at the end of the long street, which got very dark and lonely at night. Breakfast was too early and too short. Lot of boarded up property in the area. No chair in room. The room was barely warm enough late in the evening. There was no control over this.The area the hotel is situated in. No Full English breakfast. Too far from City Centre. Thin walls noisey neighbours who came home at 3.30am. were unable to give directions to hotel when contacted as was lost at one point was told that i dont drive so cant help go into a shop and ask. The breakfast only went on for 1 hour between 8-9am and was only a continental breakfast. The cheese and meats were bought from the local supermarket and left in their packets for the guests to open themselves. There was no way at getting in contact with the owner - no reception desk. Room very small. Location not real good.very cold, bleak, poky, surly staff, dangerous in event of a fire (fanheater stuck to the bathroom wall), no heating in room, inadequate bedding, no cooked breakfast, grim ambience. The bed was uncomfortableandcold-no duvet, just a sheet,thin blanket andcover. Unsightly water stains on the ceiling,broken shower (split shower cord), shower only functioned reasonably well at low or medium pressure and cold temperature otherwise water came out at a slow trickle! Could hear the TV andconversation of the adjoining room and the toilet being flushed in other rooms.Not worth £59.
