What people say
welcoming owners, good food, quiet ( suprisingly considering it's location - between two halves of the M6!) and clean room. Just stopped over for early morning flight from Birmingham next day.Apart from the lovely room we also loved the delicious breakfast. friendliness helpfulness and good breakfast. everything. Warm and friendly atmosphere, clean and comfortable rooms, and good breakfast. It could have only been better if the pool were working - although we wouldn't have had much time to use it!. all reviews »
Convenient for airport facilities and warm and comfortable. Very friendly. location. Clean room, quiet relaxed atmosphere. Excellent breakfast. that they changed the time of breakfast for us to 7am instead of 8am. Comfortable pleasant surroundings. Nice people.Very convenient for the nec Cleanliness. easy to park, staff friendly.Everthing was excellent. the breakast!. It was quiet and private and the breakfast was good. Great coffee. Quiet and comfortable close to the NEC.Location. Spacious, comfortable clean room with good facilities. It was very close to the NEC and was easy access to the main roads, especially as it snowed. Staff were friendly. very clean-good breakfast.Breakfast was ok. the room was warm and comfortable. good parking on site. quiet location. The Breakfast. One tiny fault only one bedside lamp and table. Would have liked the opportunity to use the pool. We found the traffic noise a little of a problem but we are used to living in a quiet location. In answer to query about quest reviews, we do not remember them and whatever we read we think everyone has an opinion. The sign for the hotel could do with a light, we arrived in the dark and there was minimal street lights and we had difficulty finding it. Could do with another chair in double room. Some toiletries would have been nice. Leaking water pipe in bathroom. There was a problem with the heating and altho' the radiators were put onin our room it was still rather cold. I was unable to find the hotel, and no one answered the phone when i rang to ask for directions. I had to stop at another hotel to ask. Also on arrival no one was on reception or answered the door. I had to walk around the outside of the building trying to gain attention from someone.Cold shower and breakfast. Overcharged for the stay (unfortunately did not realise this until I had left). Breakfast was cold, and the attempt to obtain a receipt for my stay was farcical. The guest house was very basic and would not have like to pay £70 per night in normal circumstances. electric shower was'OK'--sealing around shower tray broken from tiling-absolutely no shelving in bathroom for toiletries-bed collapsed at 3.30am--absolutely no where in the room to place a laptop for working-bedroom tv reception worse than useless and no sky channels at all-open the window and you are deafened from the motorway about 100 meters away-15 min walk to nearest restaurant.Hard to find as it looked like the hotel was closed. No lit sign om the road. Bar was not open, restaurant not open in the evening. Room was left unlocked after cleaning. it was extremely difficult to find, the sign was back off the road, and we missed it several times going up and down the road. the sign needs to be more promient, or the instructions need to give better details on how to find the hotel.the breakfast times it finishes to early. Freezing cold room no adequate heating. Had to sleep in my clothes.
