The staff were really friendly. Any questions or quieries we had were ansered and they went out of there way to be helpful. There was a lovely relaxed atmosphre within the hotel. Value of money. We would love to come back and stay again. The staff were excellent, really friendly and helpful. During my entire stay I felt welcomed. My room was good, clean and was equiped with everything that I needed. Location was also great as town centre was only a 10 minute walk away.

We had a pleasant short stay in the Suncliff Hotel.Incidentally I did not read the website reviews so cannot answer the question below about such reviews. this time i had a better room last time i booked in july i had a single room but the bed was awful it was a single but as i am over 6ft my feet hang out of bottom this time i had a larger bed which was brilliant i just wish you could prebook a room as i am back down in feb and i will be booking through you again but i would like to have the same room again it was perfect. Found the main Areas was very nice and comfortable but the landings and bed room not up to standad needs to be decorated. found the the bed and linin to be of a good standard and over haul for the price good Value. I thought it was extortionate the price of a room with a sea view an extra £10 pppn that makes itan extra £60 for 3 night. not applicable. The room we had was in urgent need of refurb for a 3 star hotel. If the decor in other rooms are the same, and with the overall decor of the hotel, we would be surprised if they keep their 3 star rating. The Hotels either side of the Suncliff which are in the same group looked a better standard. Refurbishment needed urgently.Not so much a dislike, but a feeling that the establishment was ready for make over, similiar to it's sister hotel next door. room abit small and very hot. I cannot think of anything.

For those wishing to take a dip, The Cumberland Hotel, directly next door, offers one of Bournemouths largest outdoor heated pools with a sun terrace and patio deck surrounding the pool. The deck has sun loungers and chill beds on which you can relax and enjoy the sunshine. The Cliffeside Hotel, on the other side of the Suncliff offers a smaller, more intimate outdoor pool. During this time, guests have free use of the indoor pool at The Oceana's sister property Best Western Hotel Royale - OCEANA COLLECTION nearby on the East Cliff. Please contact the Hotel Royale for pool availability times. If dinner is not requested upon booking then there will be an extra charge in addition to the stated amount. Please note that on site parking is limited and on a first-come, first-serve basis. Street parking on the seafront is available and charges apply.
