hotel charmant, très joli bar, cuisine excellente, accueil parfait, personnel extrémement serviable. Le plus, Céline est française , en plus de son sourire, elle vous conseillera et vous débrouillera. The large spar bath and the size of the room.The smell as you walk in! (Home cooking and the general feel of the establishment) Staff were quite friendly ,the room was fantastic and it was refreshing to see a hotel that was homely and quirky without being a dump! Friendly, helpful staff. Very good food and variety of choice. Good location and hotel had retained atmosphere of the past in decor etc.peaceful. The food was excellent. Liked the ambiance of the lounge as well.Value for money excellent food. The noise from the main road.I don't really like to do this section,but ,there were a few pointers! There was no-one in the reception area for a good 5-10 mins as we walked in.The food was lovely,but my wife found a piece of copper wire in her soup,the cartons of cream in the bedroom were two weeks out of date and clotted in drinks,we were billed for a sweet we didnt have,and my breakfast was just warm rather than hot. room a bit cramped. The steps and the walk to the room - almost tripped a few times and the top step is dangerous. the hotel was on main A5 and we found the traffic very noisy.
