We were about 10-15 minutes walk from the city centre and the place was very peaceful, comfortable, clean and friendly. Free wireless access to the internet and free parking nearby were a great bonus. Some of our group who stayed in the heart of the city found parking difficult and expensive, and were kept awake by late night revellers and seagulls fighting. Everything. The room was fantastic: spacious, modern and extremely clean. Service was friendly and very helpful. Location was perfect - really close to town. We returned a few days later. I've stopped at lots of BandBs/Hotels and have not ever had to check out by 10am. We also had breakfast at 9am and were expected out an hour later. It didn't give us time to really enjoy our breakfast, shower and get ready.It has no parking facilities and parking is difficult in the area with residents parking only. They should provide parking permits. use of common bathroom and toilet.There is not a brekfast room and there's a shared bathroom.

By car from the East or North:
- Take the M4 motorway.
- Exit at junction 18.
- Take the A46 south for Bath.
- Follow signs initially for the city centre and then the A4 for Bristol.
- After passing through a number of traffic lights and roundabouts you will see a Renault Dealer on the right, turn left opposite this (alongside the Green Park Tavern) into Westmoreland Road.
- This becomes Lower Oldfield Park when it passes under the railway bridge.
- Roban House (number 26) is 100 metres up the road on the right-hand side.
From the South/East:
- Take the A36 from Southampton, Salisbury and Warminster into Bath.
- On joining the A4 in Bath turn left for Bristol.
- After passing through a number of traffic lights and roundabouts you will see a Renault Dealer on the right, then, as above.
