The hotel is very well situated and the facilities are very good value for money. The restaurant offered a good choice of dishes which were good value. The breakfasts very very good offering a good choice of options and very plentiful. The staff were very helpful and pleasant . We liked the Hotel it was very nice & clean. Staff very helpful, could not do enough for us. Location was central and just perfect. We will go back again as Hotel & Staff great. Bath is a wonderful city to visit and the shops and restaurants are fab.
all reviews » Really friendly staff and good meals - not too expensive. The location was fantastic, not too far from the station and near the town centre. The room itself was fairly basic but clean and comfortable. I was the first person Ever to check into the hotel. A great hotel and value for money. All staff very nice and helpful, particularly the wonderful Eunice! Nothing was too much effort for her. Perfect location. Parking only 1 block away. It was very quiet and I will book here again when traveling to Bath. The beds are very comfy, shower pressure ahhhhh. Excellent value for money. Although a new hotel it was fantastic. Ideally situated for our needs. Fully recommend the restaurant for diner and breakfast. It does what it says in the text, "A good nights sleep". However the staff were helpful and endeavour edge to rectify any shortcomings. Breakfast was a shambles. We paid for a cooked breakfast for both days and were shocked at the very poor buffet - it wasn't replenished, or simply wasn't there! We had to ask and wait for what we wanted. When it arrived it was good, but I'm not sure I'd bother to book again - on Friday morning the buffet didn't arrive until 9:20 (?). Housekeeping calling at 9am daily, should come a bit later.. :-(. Only one towel and no phone in room to alert reception! Could not spot fire escape map usually located on back of door. Parking is tricky. Tad expensive, but hey ho!. No smoking area apart from main doors, no car parking and no room service. There were no towels or coat hangers in the room.We told reception and returned at 22.30 to find 1 set of towels not 2 so another trip to reception.At £97,a continental breakfast should be included. We didnt like finding a bible in the room,we're atheists but other faiths would also be offended.Not enough tea bags and milk. check-in with machines. It was very difficult to get a correct invoice with company's name. Nowhere close to park. Virtually everything. 2 days out of 3 with no room service. 1st morning no buffet breakfast - very slow to receive 2nd morning all items on buffet breakfast ran out, up to 30 mins for all to be replenished. No butter in hotel at all. Staff ok but no leadership / manager whatsoever. Request re imbursement for what was supposed to be a pre Christmas treat for my wife. Regards Disgusted.
