Everything about Met catches your eyes from the very first moment. It's elegant but very subtle among the loud adjacent hotels that are shouting class. This cozy hotel is designed so tastefully that you just wish you could extend your stay there. The staff is so nice and friendly you never feel you're not home. The location is also very very convenient. You're 2 minutes away from 9 Eylul square, which is quite central if you want to catch the Metro or terminal services. You are also within walk.
all reviews » The hotel is modern and contemporary which funky modern furniture and a glass front right in the centre of a business area of Izmir. It's quite similar to a modern hotel you might find in Madrid or another big European city. The rooms were not large but very smart and clean, fantastic shower! The hotel has a nice feel to it and the staff seemed good. The restaurant manager was very helpful and enthusiastic if not a little too much for the style of the hotel, but the breakfast was excellent espe. Excellent, modern, clean the Met Boutique Hotel in the Centre of Izmir. Our holidays between Izmir and picturesque Volissos on Chios island was wonderful. Our stay in Volissos in excellent house Casa Bella (site Airbnb) it was more than wonderful. Thanks the Met Boutique Hotel in Izmir and the Casa Bella in Volissos, for our excellent accommodation to them. We had the most fab room, even included our own sauna!! The fresh fruit platter was great and for hands down service, the staff was excellent but you can't beat Farik, the most amazing butler/concierge/jack-of-all-trades. The hotel entrance had a food odour and also the corridor outside our room smelled of cigarettes. The walls are not well insulated, we could hear people talking and even with the window shut you could hear the traffic (the hotel is on a busy main road). It was bearable on a Saturday night but I am not sure how would be midweek. A bit noisy because of traffic. If you have a sleeping problem, you may choose back view. The restaurant was not running. We were stuck in hotel during riots and there was no food option. We had to leave hotel during riots to search for food. Normally food is arranged from other places but we just had bad luck. Small problem - the non-smoking room was clearly a room that had been smoked in before by the odor and ashtray that were in the room. Nothing !. They need good coffe for foreign people not only tea or Turkish coffe. Nothing. limited English of staff. too much "air freshener". none. a bit cumbersome to get WIFI working, but eventually it worked (hardly worth mentioning). It is on the main street and noise of the street is not avoidable. The location is on a big boulevard so our room was quite noisy. Stayed in junior suite for 3 days. The 2nd day nobody cleaned suite, as well as the next day, but after complain at the reception desk, the maid has been sent immediately to clean the room.
