The suites were way above our expectations. The view was fabulous and the apartment very spacious and great value for money. We had King bed as requested and 15th floor. Staff were very friendly and helpful- even security. Absolutely loved it and would recommend it highly. The bed was firm but very comfy. Much prefer Karon to Patong- beach clean and beautiful- definitely one of the best.. Pool and entry great and a great touch was the welcome pack and cool drink upon arrival.

Facilities on-site are not the greatest. However, facilities at Centara Karon Resort are excellent. ie Spa, Fitness Centre, Kids Club, Kids Pool Complex, Kids Playground (Guests at Waterfront Suites have card access to all these additional facilities). The staff were excellent and very helpful. I was allotted with 8B flat which had scenic beauty of sea just from the room. Very specious room and nice swimming pool. We kids also enjoyed the kids pool at Centara. Though it was one bed suit but was quite enough for my whole family with 3 kids. Very comfortable bed, two balcony to enjoy the sea view. We are very happy for our stay at this hotel. Thanks to Waterfront. Rooms were very spacious and the view outside the balcony was great. Its a 2 minute walk to the beach with good shopping and restaurant options nearby. Beds were big, and our family with 2 kids under 8 could sleep comfortably. Front office and housekeeping staff are cheerful and ready to assist. The apartment was clean, very spacious, bright, airy and well-equipped. Staff were friendly and helpful.Swimming pool was very pleasant too. Location is very convenient near restaurants, shops, and markets in Karon. Overall it is an excellent hotel. Its location is great, just opposite to Karon beach. The family room with 2 bedrooms was large. Even it's not a new one but well cleaned. The price is relatively low. Good location, reasonable price. Nice staff, excellent location, 3 mins walking distance to the beach, beautiful sea view from the balcony, big and clean room, very suited for family. Very friendly and helpfull staff including security on the gates funny guys the facilities were great and the view from the higher levels is amazing. Location was good as it was close to the action and beach, and being able to use the facilities at Centara Karon was a big plus for the family. The hotel was near the beach and had a great view, the staff were kind. Pool & location. Shower was very hard to regulate otherwise a wonderful place to stay. Rooms were a bit out-dated. Bars behind the complex can be noisy. One rice cooker in the kitchen would be better. No hand shower in the toilet. Expected more nearer to the sea as seen from the picture. The hot and cold water mixer in the bathroom was awful. It would either provide very cold or very hot water. It was difficult especially for the kids. Kitchenware was for 2 persons only. DVD player is to be rented separately, though its cheap at THB 50 per day. They are a bit measly on the toiletries. Unlike all other hotels we stayed in Thailand, wifi is not available for free. Even when we purchase access, it can only be used on 1 device and cuts off every half an hour. The room was nice but little bit old. not good cleaning work. Очень громко работают кондиционеры. the facilities in the suite are not as delicate as the suite itself. i dont like the plastic chair on the balcony. but still more than worthy for its price. The hotel rooms are dated and are in need of an update, mould in shower silicone, noisy air con units. television in the lobby apartments could have been bigger))). The kitchen was not clean and the housekeeping of the apartment lacks quality and promptness. had to pay dvd player rental no hotel tuk tuk no free wifi. 1.Not provide toothbrush,toothpaste 2.old building. 3.Need extra effort if bring heavy bag, need use stair from ground floor to lobby. The facilities is old and the room's light is bad. Ants in the room that didn't get taken care of despite notifying the front desk. Shower temperature quite random. We could not sleep even one night because of the loud bars in the street by the hotel. If we know about the bar, we never would go to that place. The music starts at 10 every night and ends at 4 in the morning, we complained about the music and the staffs simply dismissed us saying that we cannot do anything. I even email the hotel about the noise and they did not even answer my email. They have to warn people about the noise at nights. Definitely not the star rating, or as described or photos, unless there have different rooms, very old decor, dirty, smelly, mould all over bathroom tiles, would give it a 1 star, look at the room before you pay !!! Very disappointed and wouldn't refund stayed in 1bedroom 5th floor.
